Condominios MaraVilla - 63732 Bucerías

Stayed in one of the lovely and new MaraVilla suites for 16 days in December 2016 while cycling with the owner's bike company, Bici Bucerias (check them out if you like to stay active on vacation and want to see a different point of view of the area, it will open your eyes and put a smile on your face). Joel and Jillian have created a great oasis in a very convenient part of Bucerias that would be well suited for a single, couple or large group alike. It would be perfect in fact for a large family/friend gathering of 15 people or so, like having your own private resort. Choose from either quiet and secluded lower units, or brighter uppers with nice views. All units have private patios, and access to either very private pools, or the larger central pool in the center of the property. Some of the pools are connected yet are designed so each has a private theme too right outside of your door. Combined with the beautiful tropical landscaping it gives the unique feel of an oasis running through the property. The units themselves are well equipped and modern with air con, full kitchens, large storage areas etc. Light and airy feeling, especially the upper units. Modern washer and dryers in the common area inside entrance are very welcomed, especially after hot bike rides. And did I mention location location location? Easy walking distance to the huge Bucerias beach and its multitude of excellent restaurants, markets, mini-supers (all you need for amenities, don't think you have to go to the big Mega or Chedraui stores - support local!) and in general the perfect central venue for exploring the wonderful vibe that is Bucerias. Joel and Jillian live very close to MaraVilla, so anything you need/issues is only a quick text or call away, and they are truly great people that exude pride in showing you this beautiful and refreshingly real (not 'walled-in' all-inclusive) part of Mexico that they call home. You won't be disappointed.

We spent 2 months staying in the Riviera Nayarit this past winter, and absolutely loved our time in Bucerias at MaraVilla. A modern take on the beach condo, MaraVilla has 2 small soaker pools to cool off after a long road bike ride with Bici Bucerias, a local bike tour and guide company that provides even the rookie rider with a great experience. MaraVilla has spacious, open concept, one-bedroom condos a block off the beach and close to excellent restaurants, from street tacos to authentic Italian wood-fired pizzas. The condos are new this past year, and are kept in excellent shape with a twice-weekly cleaner, and a manager close by for any issues. I highly recommend booking a trip to Bucerias, and MaraVilla as soon as you can!

My husband and I recently completed a 2month stay at the new MaraVilla complex. While our rental was a smaller studio over the garage, (most are 1 bedroom units) we found it very comfortable and adequate for our needs. There was plenty of closet space, the kitchen was well equipped (although prep area a bit small), comfortable queen size bed, ceiling fans and a/c when we needed it. The studio had a large balcony where we enjoyed our meals and cocktails while watching the hustle and bustle of the tourists & townspeople. A very nice feature was the wall-to-wall stacking patio doors which when open, created a lovely indoor-outdoor living space pefect for entertaining a couple of guests. The grounds at MaraVilla are nicely landscaped with plenty of greenery allowing good separation between the villas, and creating a serene ambiance. The property houses 2 refreshing lap pools which were perfect for cooling down on those warm tropical days. Very convenient were the shared laundry facilities and the barbecue grill located in the garage area. Staff was great and the property well maintained. Anything that required attention was taken care of promptly and professionaly. Mara Villa is in the best area of town. We can't say enough about the location. More than a handful of restaurants, shops, fantastic grocery store just around the corner, beach, bus stop to neighbouring beaches & towns, flea market are all within a 5 minute walk and Centro less than 10 min. We would definitely stay at MaraVilla again.

I was planning to stay in Bucerias for 1.5 weeks ... as soon as I arrived, I knew this was a special place. MaraVilla is absolutely beautiful. It is set up in such a functional way, the pools are so nice to relax in after a day of cycling or hanging out on the beach / kitesurfing. I ended up staying here for just about two months. I love the design in MaraVilla, being surrounded by so much beauty and plants allowed me to excel in my work and made me feel amazing all the time! If you are planning a trip to Bucerias, I highly recommend you stay in MaraVilla!

This is our second shorter term stay at MaraVilla. It's everything you need to enjoy Bucerias. The pool is perfect for dipping and always refreshingly in the shade. Two blocks to the beach, 2 blocks the other way to the main highway, 4 blocks from the town centre and right in the middle of many restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Perfect locale!

Very nice hosts. Super responsive, accommodating, and well informed. Accommodations are excellent: clean, great staff, cool decor, and very nicely landscaped garden, pool, and balcony areas. A great choice for Bucerias. I'd stay again even if I don't win their week free giveaway offered from their YouTube channel, "Moving to Mexi.co", which I also recommend. ?

This property is designed for comfort. The ability to fully open sliding glass doors on two sides of the room, making the room a full open air flat It was amazing. Slept several nights with the room open and enjoying the night air. In the heat of the day, one could close the doors and blinds and the air-conditioning cooled the room in minutes. The furnished room has everything you need, TV, couch, full bath and a full equipped kitchenette. Also there is lap pools and laundry located on the property. So conveniently located in quiet Bucerias, Mexico. So much to do. Restaurants, shops, grocery stores, art district are all with in walking distance of MaraVilla. You are only a 5 minute walk from an amazing beach that offers an epic sunset nightly. I have walked he area on all times of the day and night and never found anything other than a relaxing atmosphere full of welcoming people. Not that you would have to leave Bucerias, but you can very easily catch a cab or bus to travel anyplace in the Puerto Vallarta area for sightseeing or take part in a wide variety of activities in the area. Joel and Julian are very welcoming and offer great communication before and during your stay. I highly recommend MaraVilla as well as Bucerias for your next Mexico vacation.
