My brother owns a place here that is right on the beach. A pod of dolphins lives in this bay, and we watch them go by and play every day. The grounds are immaculate. This is such a beautiful place!

Great place on the ocean front, The condos are a bit outdated but the AC units work great, and you cannot beat the location right on the beach. Super quiet and chill away from the city.

Rooms were quite, you don’t get hassled by staff, there is a bar of course on the pricey side you are right on the beach, I stayed on second floor I wish there were elevators. But the view was worth it, there were plenty of things out of there control not very good cell service, they have wi-fi but it was horrible; if you go use FaceTime Audio on iPhones or magic jack or hangouts Skype. You can’t hang clothes off the balcony you get a fine if you do.

Overall a super fun trip!! Really enjoyed it. About the condos, first off when we got there our fridge was not working. We went down to maintenance and they said it would be the next day. The following day the brought a new fridge but didn't replace the old one they left it in the kitchen against the wall taking up some more the the already limited space. Another thing is there is not central air or 1 central unit. There is about 5 window units which all need to be adjusted to properly cool the condo, not a huge deal but would've been much nicer with a single thermostat to control the whole condo. The biggest thing that we probably noticed was the Wifi. They offered it and it was there but it.....was.....bad....I mean there was times when it would work but 95% of the time we hardly found it worth using. Being that we were in Mexico our cell phone plan would only allow a certain amount of data each day causing a little bit of a headache. Beds were ok but not overly amazing. Overall we had a super fun trip and would defiantly go back to the San Carlos area, not sure if we would stay in these same condos.

We love love love this place. We’ve been coming here as a family since I was a kid and now I’m bringing my kids here. My parents bought one of the condos here and we’ve been so happy to have this place available to the family ever since. The grounds are kept up on a regular basis and the staff are all friendly. All the staff are wearing masks and they work hard. Condominios Pilar has felt like a home away from home for us. We love that there are Mexican, Canadian, and US families and guest here. Also we get to make friends with folks that we get to see again and again every year. The water is usually a great temp for swimming and a little chilly in the winter months but easy to swim with a wetsuit. The fishing is fantastic with marinas nearby and plenty of charter fishing options. Lots of good snorkeling nearby as well. The estuary is a fantastic place to hike or kayak and sailing is often good here at the beach as well. The beaches are beautiful and the sunsets are world class. The only thing I would love to see is the restaurant return that was here before COVID-19 shut it down. I really hope it can return once this pandemic passes.

Spectacular sunsets, beach-walking on a shell-studded, white, sandy beach, views of rugged mountains, blue water, and so many birds I can't name them all. It's quiet and peaceful and we love it here.
