★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una grata sorpresa resulta el parque para mi como visitante, muy cercano al río se disfruta de un ambiente fresco y con la posibilidad de desayunar en alguno de los varios locales que ofertan comidad con hospitalidad y sencillez yo escuche de chacaltianguis en Cd Juárez, Chihuahua y pasando por la carretera hay un letrero que decía a 4 km. y decidí conocer la tierra de mi amigo.
A pleasant surprise is the park for me as a visitor, very close to the river you can enjoy a fresh atmosphere and with the possibility of having breakfast in one of the several places that offer food with hospitality and simplicity I listen to Chacaltianguis in Cd Juárez, Chihuahua and passing by the road there is a sign that said to 4 km. and I decided to know the land of my friend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al margen del Río Papaloapan florecieron pueblos que tuvieron su mayor desarrollo a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, dejando con ello un importante legado que se ve reflejado en su arquitectura.
Chacaltianguis es un pueblo hospitalario, conocido como la “Esmeralda del Papaloapan”, el enrejillado es su principal artesanía; en la gastronomía figuran los tamales de elote y los “cabecita de perro” -a base de anís y chicharrón-, la mazorca de mamey es uno de sus dulces típicos.
Por esto y más, Chacaltianguis forma parte de las joyas ocultas de la Cuenca del Papaloapan.
On the banks of the Papaloapan River, towns flourished which had their greatest development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, leaving behind an important legacy that is reflected in their architecture.
Chacaltianguis is a hospitable town, known as the "Emerald of Papaloapan", the trellis is its main craft; gastronomy includes corn tamales and “cabecita de perro” -anise and pork rinds-, the mamey cob is one of its typical sweets.
For this and more, Chacaltianguis is part of the hidden jewels of the Papaloapan Basin.
