Does anyone know if both parents have to attend the consulate to process a child's passport, or with one of the 2 to go? Someone help me.

No pude obtener la ciudadanía para mi hijo y la vuelta fué sólo eso y regresarnos sin nada. Un gasto grande por la vuelta y por aveniencias en el camino con una llanta de mi carro, fuí allá porque me había comentado que era muy fácil todo tipo de trámites, en fin se me hizo muy mala la actitud. Espero que demás personas que vayan no tengan esa experiencia. I'm very sorry to post this but not a young, thin lady from there gives a lot to be desired, I lacked a paper and she didn't try to help me get it and she didn't even give me options. I could not obtain citizenship for my son and the return was just that and we returned with nothing. A big expense for the return and for compromises on the road with a tire of my car, I went there because he had told me that all kinds of procedures were very easy, in short, my attitude was very bad. I hope other people who go don't have that experience.

It is probably a small consulate (havent seen the others but it had only 3 service windows). The officer was very patient and helpful. There was a document missing from my employer. The officer asked me to call then up and have them send an email. I tried but could not contact them. So he himself tried calling them for sometime and left a note at the reception. And There was free parking in the front of the building. Read somewhere that parking is not free so thought of mentioning that.
