Schedule my appointment four days in advance and they assigned it to me at 6:30 in the afternoon, I arrived in very good weather and they don't respect that agenda at all. It was 7:30 at night and I didn't even pass. I do not recommend it.

Be careful with this doctor, if they go on behalf of an insurance company, demand that they give them the final cost of what is paid in the hospital, since the doctor only limits himself to telling you that it fits the tabulator, and that you would only pay your deductible, but it happens that already in the hospital the hospital charges you more apart from the deductible, which is the doctor's obligation to give you the final cost and more because he receives the assigned amount. Finally his assistant tells you there is no more if they pay for surgery but then, come another day, his letter has a month to make it valid and the doctor never shows up.

I would like to tell you my anecdote with Dr. In 2019 I went to a daily consultation for review. I have nystagmus (it is an involuntary movement of the eyes) from birth. Within the consultation came the topic of laser surgery to improve visual acuity. The Dr. evaluated the state of my eyes, carried out other studies to know if he could be a candidate for laser surgery. The same day of the consultation, he told me if he could do it and he told me what dates. Confident in the voice of a doctor, schedule a date to do it. After the surgery the next day in consultation I did not feel any improvement in vision, which he told me was normal for the moment. Trusting in his voice, I went calm. The following days and weeks I felt some very uncomfortable changes that before the surgery, apart from the dry, red eye and the halos in the lights (normal effects) I felt blurred vision when I read books, when I was on the computer or when I had to strain to do activities and in my right eye I had blurred vision, something that before the surgery did not happen nor did I present problems to do my daily activities. A few months passed and the truth was I did not feel any improvement and I went to a consultation to tell him what I felt. Already in the consultation after explaining the inconvenience, his first answer he gave me was "YOU ALREADY SEE BAD" which little answer, obviously if he did not have good eyesight I am visiting him to see if he could improve. I asked him why he didn't get better if he had surgery for me to do it. What he told me was that I did not improve because I have involuntary eye movement (congenital pathology). The doctor knowing that still authorized the surgery. Already investigating on my own and going with other ophthalmologists they told me that nystagmus is a contraindication and it is risky to do laser surgery due to the constant movement of the eye. In my case, the surgery was not going to improve my vision, which the Doctor never told me, if I knew I would not have accepted it and the 18 thousand pesos were only given away. Simply the surgery was totally unnecessary without significant results due to the abnormal pathology of my eyes I count this problem not because I want to expose someone or make someone look bad, it does not mean that all cases are going to be the same, but to make it known that he only had an interest in doing unnecessary and risky surgery and because of his medical malpractice. The truth does not get carried away by the kindness and humor of the doctor is not what it seems.

The doctor operated on me with laser to correct myopia and astigmatism, I have had the operation for 4 years and everything is going well, I still do not wear glasses and my vision is good.
