En la actualidad, se ha incrementado la importancia de la nutrición responsable debido a la presencia y el aumento de trastornos alimenticios que no sólo impactan en la autoestima, sino que atentan contra la salud. Ejemplo de estos trastornos es la obesidad.
La Dra. María Magdalena Tovar Zavala es la fundadora de los Consultorios VT dedicados al tratamiento del sobrepeso y obesidad, tomando como base su preparación profesional en medicina y siguiendo la normatividad aplicable para el tratamiento del sobrepeso.
En el año 1983, cuando terminó su carrera como médico cirujano y partero en el Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN Cédula 1069189), le surgió la preocupación por uno de los principales problema de salud pública que existía y existe en nuestro país: la obesidad.
Patología que ella misma padeció en aquellos momentos; esta situación la motivó a estudiar el área clínica de sobrepeso y obesidad en el Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI.
Al terminar estos estudios, se planteó un objetivo único: fomentar una disciplina integral, que propicie una mejor calidad de vida de las personas que tienen sobrepeso.
En la actualidad, estamos conformados por un grupo de médicos y más de 15 socios preocupados mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestros pacientes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yo hace tiempo fui y baje claro que lo regañan a uno porque si uno quiere resultados deve de uno de poner de nuestra parte ,nada funciona solo el 50% son ellos y el otro nosotros,y baje yo lo recomiendo ya que en otros lugares JAMAS tuve el éxito,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El problema es la actitud de las enfermeras y el doctor maltrata a los pacientes humillando los y exhibiendo los ante los demás. Es triste que según muchos estudios y tengan tan limitado vocabulario para atender a los clientes que al fin y al cabo pagan por un servicio y salen de peor ánimo que entraron.y además de los clientes viven y bastante bien a los pacientes hay que hablarles y hacerles comprender su situación con respeto

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Te tratan como res. Te dan una plática junto con otras personas, te dan una dieta genérica y el negocio es vender chochos naturales que te dan diarrea. No hay dietas personalizadas y ni se preocupan por tu salud. Mejor vayan con un médico, aquí no hay ni uno.
They treat you like beef. They give you a talk together with other people, they give you a generic diet and the business is to sell natural chochos that give you diarrhea. There are no personalized diets and they don't even care about your health. Better go see a doctor, there isn't even one here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yo siempre e ido a bajar 5 kilos o un poco más pero siempre los he bajado en 1 mes y nunca me ha tocado que sean groseros, lo que si no son muy fraternales ya que tienen mucha gente, es comprensible, la Dra solo la he visto una vez y si habla un poco golpeado pero no es grosera.
Yo recomiendo ampliamente siempre me ha funciona y he llegado a mi objetivo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El tratamiento es efectivo pero de alto riesgo de rebote. Al principio de año todo iba muy bien con un médico que daba seguimiento a sus pacientes y ahora cambian de médico casi cada mes lo que hace que no sea favorable para el paciente. No hay seguimiento y no se toman el tiempo de explicar de manera detallada el tratamiento y sus posibles efectos secundarios. Casi ningúno da consejos o corrije pequeños fallos sobre la dieta y si no cumples el objetivo recortan los alimentos, lo que desde mi punto de vista no es lo ideal puesto que cada persona reacciona distinto a la restricción de carbohidratos en tiempo y forma de adaptación. Vuelvo a mencionar, efectiva pero riesgosa y poco personalizada.

Almost none of them give advice or correct small mistakes about the diet and if you do not meet the objective they cut the food, which from my point of view is not ideal since each person reacts differently to the restriction of carbohydrates in time and form of adaptation. I mention again, effective but risky and not very personalized.
