This tour was amazing! The people and the service!Rented a boat for the day and went to swim with the whale sharks and then headed to an island with a beautiful beach and restaurant!

The tour was good I will recommend but food could have had more variety but the ride to the island was great great crew they did make it interesting very friendly and where very attentive to my kids

Do not do this tour if you are in the Riviera Maya. The trip is long and the price is expensive. We did the Isla Mujeres all inclusive. Not good for the price. Someone in the boat paid 1,700 pesos we paid $310 USD with the pick up. We only did about 20 min of snorkel time, one hour of swimming, one hour of lunch at a horrible buffet, and one hour to walk the town. Did not get my money’s worth for sure! The boat was old and the music kept cutting off all the time. I booked through Viator (won’t be using them anymore!). This has been the worst tour we’ve had in the Riviera Maya. We stayed in Tulum and it took them two hours to take us back after they dropped everyone in the van. The only thing good was the view of the water, but you can get that from free from anywhere.

My partner and I had a wonderful time on our excursion to Isla Mujeres and Isla Contoy! The crew was very attentive to our needs as one of a few English speakers on the trip. They made sure we had a drink in our hands and were having a good time! Big shoutout to Moses who led our walking tour of Isla Contoy- he made sure to point out all of the amazing plants and animals that inhabit the island. Everything was great- the food, the snorkeling, and of course the dance party at the end of the day! Highly recommend this trip!

We did the Isla Mujeres tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The captain and crew were very entertaining and kept everyone on the boat engaged. Glenda was very helpful with the booking process, giving us a choice between the power catamaran and sailing catamaran, which we opted for the sailing cat. We will definitely use Contoy Adventures for our next excursion.

i will start this off by saying that i had fun. The entertaining staff, gorgeous views, and cool island were very exciting and enjoyable. However, it was not what we booked. Our original snorkeling package consisted of snorkeling in 2 different locations, each for 45 minutes. Instead, we went to one location for 20 minutes. That was the only snorkeling done the whole excursion and most people did not even get to participate because it was for better swimmers. Not only was the trip wrong, but our driver picked us up 50 minutes late. While on the boat we stopped at isla mujeres for an hour which did not nearly seem like enough time. The workers told us the meeting spot and the time to be there but when we arrived there was nobody, resulting in us having to walk to the boat ourselves. Despite the negatives there were multiple positives such as getting to experience Mexican culture, shopping in the beautiful gift shops, and partying on the boat. As a whole, the trip was fun, i just would not classify it as a “snorkeling excursion”.

Had a great time on the whale shark swimming excursion. We went on the first day of the season and there were a lot of factors like wind and the location of the whale sharks that pushed our tour back but Roberto was really good about communicating all of the changes too us and letting us know with plenty of time for us to move any other arrangements. The tour itself was great and we saw lots of whale sharks even though it was the first day of the season and other company’s told us we probably wouldn’t see them. The only downside was that some of the people on the boat got seasick while we were stopped to swim with the sharks but I had taken some Dramamine that morning and felt ok. Even the people who were sick all thought the tour was still well worth it. All around a great tour and great company

We did the sunset catamaran sailing to isla mujeres on May 10. There was a mix up at the port about a 16% credit card charge (our fault for not having cash) but it was resolved by the person we booked the tour through. That aside, the experience was very fun and enjoyable!! The best part was the crew and trombone player. They all made the night a fun party and inclusive. Open bar (beer is extra), and light croissant sandwiches after the one hour stop in isla mujeres. One hour isn’t a enough to really do anything but walk down the main drag on the island. When you anchor for the sunset, you get a chance to swim. I would recommend this tour company for this tour.
