Wir haben eine Walhai-Tour über Getyourguide gebucht, es war toll gemacht. Wir hatten ein eigenes Boot für unsere Familie, die zwei Guides waren sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Frühstück war spärlich, dafür haben sich die zwei für das Mittagessen richtig ins Zeug gelegt und die Guacamole und den Fisch geschnippelt, während wir bei der Isla Mujeres schwimmen gehen konnten. Wir duften zu zweit zweimal mit den Walhaien mitschwimmen, dabei haben die beiden Guides darauf wert gelegt, dass wir immer einen Walhai sehen können. Demnach eine klare Empfehlung unsererseits ?☀️

The whale sharks were amazing!!!!!!!!. I don’t like how the staff try and rip you off around every corner though. They offered my husband saveeci and when he said yes they realised there wasn’t enough in the container so he simply refilled the bowl he had already started eating from thinking no one had seen then gave it to my husband The photos were another scam. We booked as a group of 7 however when it came time to buy the photos for the advertised $100 they said we had to pay the price of two families $120. I questioned them and got them for $100

**NOTE: There is Contoy Excursions and Contoy Adventures that both operate out of Cancun. This review is for Contoy EXCURSIONS!! Contoy Excursions exceeded my expectations every step of the way. I worked with Carlos for about 8 months arranging a total of 5 excursions for my husband and I (2 full days of adventures). He answered all of my questions and was very responsiveness throughout the booking process and throughout our trip. Hernan was our very knowledgeable tour guide. Hernan was an expert in the Mayan couture and knew all of the history associated with the various sites we had visited. Hernan realized we enjoyed going to more "authentic" and non-popular places. He recommended an amazing, hole-in-the-wall shop for lunch called " La Verdadera Tía De Kaua" where we dined on the most delicious Poc Chuc and got to meet the lovely Tia who had been making her Poc Chuc for the last 40 years. It was the BEST adventure on our trip and we would have never experienced it if it weren't for Hernan. Miguel was our trusty driver who was always waiting for us nearby with a cold bottle of water, a refreshing soda, and most importantly, an air-conditioned SUV that provided a much-needed escape from the intense humidity. Carlos had shared our desires of wanting to learn about the Mayan culture to Hernan, and together they gave us 2 full days of adventures that we will never forget. In total, we spent around 24-hours with Contoy Excursions and spending time with their team was the BEST part of our trip. Our resort was very nice, but you can drink and lay by a pool anywhere. The adventures that we experienced with Hernan and Miguel are the memories we will share with everyone. Because of Hernan's knowledge and expertise of the various sites we visited, I feel like I truly got to see Yucatan. I have worked in the hospitality industry as a Convention Planner/Manager for over 15 years at various 5-star properties, to say I have high expectations is an understatement. The level of service we experienced from Carlos, Hernan and Miguel was top notch, 5-star, 5-diamond all the way! They were always on time, the car was clean and spotless, with a very powerful air conditioner, and both Carlos and Hernan are fluent in English and Spanish. They understand what it means to provide excellent customer service and there was not a single thing they could have done to make our experience any better. They are the best company for travelers who really want to experience Mexico!

Went on “nature tour”/adventure with this operator. My husband really wanted to see sailfish. I contacted so many companies and no one seemed to be going. Thankfully Contoy excursions was able to work it out for my husband. They kept in contact with us throughout our stay and was able to get a group together see the sail fish. Of course it’s wild life so it’s not guaranteed. So expectations weren’t too high but we were hopeful. Well it was an awesome day, got to see sailfish, marlin, and dolphins. The crew boat crew were awesome and attentive. Carlos was also kind enough to let my husband borrow his free diving fins. They were awesome! Thank you guys for a great day.
