UnoMedical, a ConvaTec company makes infusion sets for insulin pumps. Unfortunately, their most popular canula set, the Autosoft XC is backordered and many of us diabetics who use a pump have been forceably switched to the Autosoft 90, which the only difference is the Autosoft 90's way of attaching and detaching is 90% more difficult and aggravating than the Autosoft XC, which is the same except for the aggravating way of attaching and detaching the tubing. In FaceBook groups I see many other diabetics like myself who feel the same. Because of the backorder of Autosoft XC sets, we have been switched to the Autosoft 90s. We are very unhappy about this! Why does Unomedical not produce enough Autosoft XCs but instead insists on producing the inferior and obsolete Autosoft 90s! This is the reason for the poor rating I am giving Convatec, which owns Unomedical!
