★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ¡El Templo Y Convento De Nuestra Señora Del Carmen Se Encuentra Entre Las Calles José María Morles Y Benito Juárez Norte Está Este Pintoresco Templo Fundado Por La Orden De Carmelita En 1614 Dedicado A Santa Teresa De Jesús, Su Historia Nos Relata Que Tuvo Mucho Que Ver En 1863 En La Reforma Liberal De Juárez Ya Que Está Estaba En La Ruta Del Camino Real De Tierra Adentro Que Pasaba Por Querétaro Y Llegaba A Las Minas De Guanajuato Y Zacatecas, También Nos Relata Que Durante Ese Tiempo Ese Lapso Se Expropió El Convento Y Funcionó Como Hospital Y Cuartel Entre Otras Cosas Más Durante El Sitio De Querétaro, Finalmente La Iglesia Recuperada En 1875!
The Temple and Convent of Nuestra Señora del Carmen is located between José María Morles and Benito Juárez Norte Streets. This picturesque Temple was founded by the Carmelite Order in 1614 and is dedicated to Saint Teresa of Jesus. Its history tells us that it had a lot to do with In 1863 in the Liberal Reform of Juarez since it was on the route of the Camino Real de Tierra Interior that passed through Querétaro and reached the mines of Guanajuato and Zacatecas, he also tells us that during that time the convent was expropriated and it worked As Hospital And Barracks Among Other Things More During The Siege Of Querétaro, Finally The Church Recovered In 1875!
