It is beautiful, there is a small creek that is part of that church more than a century ago.

It is one of the former Dominican convent that at that time was established there, the work they went to impart Catholicism in that area is reflected since it is at the border point between Mexico and Guatemala.

Spectacular, without words. During my academic training as a graduate in Alternative Tourism, I was fortunate to receive classes from Thomás Arvol Lee Whiting himself, member and researcher of the New World Archaeological Foundation, who did a strong study about the Royal Route from Chiapas to Guatemala in 1975. Coneta Like Aquespala, Copanahuastla, Soyatitán, Coapa and Escuintenango were super important sites on this route to Santiago de Los Caballeros, today Antigua Guatemala. Going was fulfilling one of my dreams, because now as a tourist guide I am more aware of what this site represents. It is well kept, it is quiet and the people are super friendly. If you go by transport, you must ask the ranch worker for the gate key, which will be very kindly provided. You arrive at the Buenavista ejido and if you go on foot you walk a kilometer :).
