★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Colegio Apostólico de Guadalupe. Ahora Convento Franciscano de Guadalupe se fundó en enero de 1707 por Fray Antonio Margil de Jesús. Fue el tercer colegio fundado en la Nueva España.
Fue un importante centro misional y cultural. De aquí partió la civilización y evangelización a todo el Norte de México, llegando hasta Texas y después de la expulsión de los jesuitas hasta California.
Fue el Santuario más importante de toda el Norte Novohispano. Llegó a albergar a 300 Frailes Franciscanos quiénes vivían la forma de vida Franciscana siendo un gran ejemplo para toda la sociedad zacatecana y de las regiones dónde misionaban.
 The Apostolic College of Guadalupe. Now the Franciscan Convent of Guadalupe was founded in January 1707 by Fray Antonio Margil de Jesús. It was the third college founded in New Spain.
It was an important missionary and cultural center. From here, civilization and evangelization began throughout Northern Mexico, reaching as far as Texas and after the expulsion of the Jesuits to California.
It was the most important Sanctuary in the entire North of Novohispano. It came to house 300 Franciscan Friars who lived the Franciscan way of life, being a great example for the entire Zacatecan society and the regions where they missioned.
