A great day! A great day of cooking and fun with Pancho and Luce! We had a fun afternoon cooking up: - Hibiscus and lime margaritas - Shrimp tostadas on jicama slices - Pork tamales in banana leaves - pico de gallo - 2 salsas - Nopales - Poblano strips w corn and cream sauce Francisco is fun, knowledgeable, friendly, and COVID safe! I would highly recommend spending a day doing this. We just wish the market tour had been a bit longer to see the vendors, but we did have a full day as it was! Thanks, Pancho! P.S. We only briefly removed our masks for the photo!

I had a feeling that this was going to be a good one, and I was not wrong. Enrique did everything he could to ensure that we had the best day possible. It started once we got to his house we discussed the menu and what we liked what we didn’t like. From there we loaded up into his van which was more than enough room for all of our group. And we headed down to the market, where we walk through the seafood section the meat section, and then also over to the vegetables and even a little taco stand where we got a light snack. If you can call birria tacos a light snack. Well let’s face it they were amazing! We then got a little bit to drink and waited for the finishing of the shopping, which did not take long but it was an excellent tour of a market that is off the beaten path. From there we headed back to his house where we started to talk about what was going to happen and who was going to do what, it was very informational, he gave everybody task to complete some people ground up spices some people made chocolate, some people made the dough for our tortillas it was just perfect! The right amount of guidance with everybody doing their part. Once everything was done, we sat down and had a snack of some guacamole with salsa which was unbelievable! Followed up with some pork and tamales, and beans! Wow what a wonderful dinner and what a wonderful experience. It is worth every dime, and the time you spend with him it’s just absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a cooking adventure in Puerto Vallarta please do not hesitate to book this one. You will not be upset about it.

Best Mole I’ve ever had in my life! This class was really informative and fun, but hands down the highlight was the Mole. And I don’t even like Mole! I highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to PV and wanting a more authentic way of getting to know the people, culture, and food in Puerto Vallarta.

Really great experience all around. There was tons of food, everything was delicious and super fresh, the chef was personable, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We started in the market where he explained many of the foods, what to look for, how to check for ripeness, etc. Then we went to a private, new, extremely clean home and sat around the kitchen island as we made everything. It was split up nicely so we weren't waiting forever to eat, but definitely learned a lot and we're stuffed at the end. Probably the best experience while we were here and a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

Such an amazing experience! We learned so much from the market about the culture and the foods that we were going to prepare. Cooking with Enrique was amazing! He is super talented and all the food was so tasty! Would definitely do it again.

Four of us enjoyed this class and had a great time learning about Mexican cooking and many tips that I will use in my every day cooking. Enrique took us through a market selecting the best raw products then back to his home where we put it together to make an amazing meal. We learned all about what goes into making classic dishes and something about the local culture. I highly recommend taking this class for something different while visiting PV.

This was the most wonderful experience! Our guide Martha was great in showing us a very cool local market and informing us of the Mexican traditions. Chef Enrique is very personable and a down to earth guy. He’s patient, funny, and really wants his guests to have a great time. We left with full bellys and a memorable experience.

We had the best time taking this cooking class! Carolina was our guide/chef. We met at their family restaurant and then carpooled to a couple of nearby markets to pick up ingredients. I grabbed a few things to take back home as well! The class is held at their family home which we loved!! It was a day full of margaritas, salsas, hand-made tortillas and a yummy mole dish! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this class for pretty much anyone at any skill level or age! Wonderful cultural experience. ??
