★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know where all those bad reviews come from. We were here tonight, almost nobody there, service was fast and attending. The food is absolutely perfect. The prices are on the high side, but keep in mind, that you are right next to the Uxmal site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat after viewing the Uxmal ruins. Ask about an all inclusive meal option. Appetizer + Entree + Dessert. Everything was very good. In a land that loves pork the grilled chicken here was the best of our whole trip. The breadfruit sorbet was naturally sweet and refreshing but the house made flan didn't lag behind either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to eat at the Uxmal ruins. We stopped as part of our tour group for a late lunch around 3pm. The food was buffet style with a wide selection of choices. There was something for everyone. The bonus was also free WiFi which was welcome at that point. The service was attentive. I would visit again while visiting beautiful Uxmal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant to enjoy before and after your visit to Uxmal. Great food and service. Nice place to cool off after visiting the ruin across the street too. Full bar and deep shade sitting. No aircon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was tasteless and expensive. Guacamole was flat, vegan options weren’t good. We ate amazing food in the whole of Yukatan for a fraction of the price. The only good thing was the service.
Would recommend to eat in Santa Elena or Ticul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found Coole Chepa Chi and the Lodge to be wonderful experience. Yes prices are up a notch but acceptable considering this is a resort.
All the staff we have come across have gone out of their way to ensure we received the best service, drinks and food.
From Australia we found it comforting to have been greeted by three levels of management who all spent time chatting with use and offering assistance and local area information.
We have decided to return in a few months and spend longer than one night to take in everything that is on offer.
So relaxing yet so much to do, paradise is found, come and enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was not worth the money. I ordered fajitas and it was too salty and full of soya sauce. Portions are small, the staff is smiling but I needed to ask twice for a menu, three times to be served and two times to pay.... not a very good experience for the price they ask you to pay.
