M	Maria M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most relevant aspect that made Copal stand out from other places, besides its beautiful naturalistic aesthetics in conjunction with the modernity of its architecture, is its ability to make you feel safe as if you were at home. Being able to go on vacation with your family always implies adapting to what the place where you will be staying has to offer. In this case, the characteristics of the room where we stayed: kitchen, dining room and private garden provide a sense of privacy and autonomy that make you feel at home. But at the same time being able to access the pools and common areas with ease rectifies the feeling of having freedom in a new space away from the traditional.

It isn’t very centrally located though so if you want to stay on the main road, this isn’t the hotel for you. But it’s beautiful with great staff and jungle vibes. The food and drinks are really great too! If you want a place that really gives the Tulum style and vibe, you can’t go wrong with Copal.

What I love about this place is that it has a relaxed vibe and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating. From the wonderful concept of integrating nature with the modern world, to its staff that is highly trained and very friendly, they create an ideal environment for vacationing and spending a relaxing and recovering time. I highly recommend the jungle pool and the spa, thanks to these places my relaxation experience was even better than I expected. And of course, having a place to rest and sleep is a must and I can gladly say that the amazingly equipped bedrooms fulfill this task with no problem.

Really helped smooth things out. The staff was mostly helpful except for the mishap at check in. Gabriel did a good job keeping us calm. Be sure to confirm your arrangements 6 hours prior to arrival to be sure you have a room. ? Room service was fast. Restaurant was good food good service. Would also recommend an ATV for getting around. Quickly and conveniently.

I am someone who enjoys the comforts that a luxury hotel can offer, in this section Copal fulfills to the highest standards. The rooms have spacious beds, full bathrooms and an ambiance of elegance and privacy. The common areas are filled with plants that capture the jungle ambiance characteristic of the place. The spa has treatments based on the tradition of the area without neglecting the quality of a high-end experience. In short, an integration of the natural and the modern is achieved, guaranteeing an experience that meets the highest standards.

There are two pools, two restaurants w/ bars (one open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), a helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, yoga available in the morning (additional cost) and lastly a beautiful vibe/aesthetic. Front desk was helpful with questions, down to calling taxi service for me if needed. I felt safe staying at this location and would highly recommend. Perfect for solo travelers, groups and couples as I saw a mix of all three during my stay. The hotel is a few blocks away from downtown Tulum and to get to the hotel, you may go through construction (causing rough roads), or an area that's not as developed which may be scary to some. But once you arrive to Copal Tulum, you're in paradise!

The grounds of Copal are definitely something to walk through as they are gorgeous. The restaurants are beautiful as well. Their food is great! I’m giving 4/5 stars due to how noisy it can get especially due to the surrounding streets, if you have a shared room, and how early maintenance starts in the morning. The bathroom did emit a smell each day, however, I think that’s just a Mexico thing. We quickly solved the smell issue by opening the bathroom window. Overall, Copal is nice and we had a good experience there.
