Extremely rude and unwelcoming staff working at the store. I visited their Mérida location and purchased over $100 of perfume and tea the day before. Stopped to purchase additional items as gifts that were out of stock in Mérida while passing through Valladolid the following day. When I entered, I was immediately told that their store was not part of the hotel next door, as if I was lost and was not supposed to be there or something. When I told them that I was indeed there for a reason, they asked me to wait in the back room since another client was in the store. While waiting for someone to come help me, I pulled out my phone to check my email. The woman immediately came back and told me to stop taking pictures of the store. Somewhat surprised, I told her that’s not what I was doing. She left and came back 2 minutes later and told me to wait outside. I guess they thought they were doing me a favor by selling me perfume. They need to train their staff as such that if you are in the hospitality business, you should actually be hospitable to your clients.

This place is neat. Bought a cologne and loved it. Responding to a previous reviewer, yes they make you wait outside, if they are attending other clients. They do this for your safety ( Due to Covid-19) and to provide personal customer service. If you don’t get this, maybe you shouldn’t go shopping.

Horrible place that made my wife and I wait outside for 25min. I have shopped and stayed at similar places in Sicily and France. If you want to conduct a business effectively learn to be more proactive instead of having your clients wait on the street. A professional attitude goes a long way. Please ensure you have the nice lady who was dismissive in the blue dress with Polk a dots take some form of business etiquette courses.

Lovely place with a lot of luxury products inspired by Yucatán culture. I specially liked the fragrances, they have three different sizes and you can have a personal visit to try all of them. I would only recommend improving the packaging, when you buy this type of product more than a paper bag would be nice, especially to make sure that the bottle can not break.

We loved our stay at the hotel above the shop. A very unique and private stay. We loved our private breakfast in the mornings and the balcony that over looks the street. Perfect location too.

What a beautiful store! The fragrances are amazing. We also had a coffee (best cold brew I had in a long time) and some nice pastries in the backyard. So tasty!

This is hands down the nicest hotel/guesthouse we’ve ever stayed in. This is a one suite residence (there’s a slightly bigger one down the road). The room is gorgeous with a huge copper bathtub. There is a totally private terrace which isn’t overlooked at all if you want some serious sunbathing! There’s a plunge pool and loungers too. We hardly left the suite for two days it was so relaxing. Can’t recommend highly enough. We didn’t try the spa treatments but we did purchase a few scents having used our minis in the room. Pricey but in my opinion, absolutely worth it!

Coqui Coqui have a very beautiful property and the people working there are pretty smiley however we felt they fell short (way short) on the boutique service / concept for the following reasons: Couple things that really disappointed me and did not meet the standard: Hygiene and Safety: There was a bunch of hair from a previous guests on the copper bathtub. The bed sheets and pillows were all stained with like rust or something. On the terrace area there was a rusted coat hanger, nails and broken glass instead of plants on the rails. Communication: I had the worst and most frustrating time with this. I got sent a welcome email asking if i need anything special, I replied asking for a taxi ride from the airport and no one (EVER) replied. I actually sent like 3 follow-up emails. Never heard back. (actually doubt anyone is going to read this) The first morning there was no coffee, i asked for some, never heard back. Had to go buy coffee at a shop. I got a reply like 1,3 hrs. later. (while I was already drinking my coffee back in bed) Out first night they asked me what time i like my room cleaned, I said 3,30 pm as we had a weeding and would be out. only to be told the latest was only 3,00 pm. we got our room cleaned while we waited hanging by the lobby area. (super awkward) Our Sunday morning, I got asked what time would I like my room clean. I choose noon and off we went to have lunch and visit the town. When we come back they told us the maid hasn't arrived, room is still as we left it. In about an hour the maid shows up and we have to hang out OUTSIDE for an hour and 35 min under the 3:00 p.m. sun. TERRIBLE. For breakfast every day, there was something they forgot. There was no coffee on our first morning, they didn't bring milk the second day. When I asked for the milk I got a reply about 45 min later, I had already gone to the store and bought some. Privacy: While every time we needed something no one seem to be there, your staff seem to come upstairs randomly every time i was either using the pool or in the bathroom making it very enjoy the feel of privacy we were looking for. So overall, I would give Coqui Coqui Perfumeria: Aceptable. Soley based on how beautiful the place is. But its not a property where you will relax and be pampered.
