Mario Guevara is the owner and operator of Bass Adventures Mexico and Cora’s Lodge on beautiful Lake Aguamilpa, which is known as the premier Mexican Lake for sheer numbers of Largemouth bass. In addition, Mario books trips in conjunction with Reel Mexican Adventures to world famous Lake Baccarac Lodge. Lake Baccarac Lodge was the first lakeside lodge built on Lake Baccarac, and it houses first class facilities and the attention to detail and service that Mario has become known for. Baccarac is known as THE big bass lake in Mexico and is the holder of the current Central American record.

Mario learned about the bass fishing world and the tourism industry from the legendary Billy Chapman Sr., who he worked with for the first five years of his career. Chapman is credited with introducing Florida strain largemouth bass to several Mexican lakes including Aquamilpa and Baccarac. Mario speaks both Spanish & English and has a degree in tourism.

Earning the nickname of Mario “Big Fish” Guevara, he then ventured out to build his own amazing reputation.  Mario specializes in hosting both large and small groups for their fishing experience of a lifetime and bringing clients to world class facilities where the room and meal accommodations are sure to please every guest.
