★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Location is very central a short walk from the ferry terminal and town centre and near a big supermarket. Lots of places to eat/get a massage, hire transport within 100m. For the Ironman Cozumel this is a perfect location. 200 yards from T2 and the finish Big fridge freezer in my room and a microwave available outside. Easy to use air conditioning and very effective. Negative: The room wasn't very sound proof and the shower water was tepid early in the morning..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: I was in ground floor room #103. Felt a bit like a motel. Inside the room was of an older design which turned out to be very practical: no fancy useless things, separate laundry (manual) room, outlet near the bed for phone, hot water coming out quickly, wall shelves (very useful), good AC (although a bit noisy), lots of closet space. Great location on the main coastal street, while a bit off the busy/noisy areas. 10 minutes away from the ferry pier by foot. I could even park my rental scooter inside the hotel courtyard almost in front of my room. Laye checkin (13:00) is also great. Friendly staff..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Very quaint hotel. Great a/c in the room. Liked that there was a large grocery store right next door. Tasty food and good service at the associated restaurant, a bit pricey.. Negative: The bed and pillows weren’t the greatest. Also, I’m 6’ tall and my feet were hanging off the end of the bed..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little hole in the wall hotel is a throwback to simpler times on the island and the way things used to be in the 70's -90's after Cousteau made this island famous with his documentary about the coral reefs of Cozumel. Family owned and operated all these years, the rooms are simple, straight forward, no frills but basically comfortable. Always friendly staff and amazing convenience being right on beachfront street ar a reasonable price!
