Welcome to Condominio Costa de Oro

Condominio Costa de Oro is a privately owned residential building consisting of 28 units. Built in 1988 by the well known architect/engineer Guillermo Wulff, who designed and built homes for John Huston, Richard Burton and Liz Taylor, Costa de Oro is designed and decorated in classical Mexican style. It is situated in the prestigious Conchas Chinas area with a spectacular view of Banderas Bay.

The structure is built of steel-reinforced concrete and has survived the largest earthquake and later hurricane in recent Puerto Vallarta history. The amenities include a large swimming pool, sun deck, covered parking, a high-end elevator, water purification system, and 24-hour security with guards available to assist residents and respond to emergencies.In addition, there is an on-site manager and maintenance staff. Gardeners come periodically and maid service is available to owners.

The building has direct stair access to the street (Highway to Mismaloya) where there is a taxi stand and a bus stop. By car, it is a 5-minute drive to Old Town (Romantic Zona) and 10 minutes to downtown (El Centro). The Conchas Chinas Beach is a 5-minute walk down the stairs and across below the street. One can also hike along the Conchas Chinas beaches to reach the main downtown beach, Playa de los Muertos, and the Malecon. There is a general store (Oxxo) a block away and La Playalita beach restaurant across the street in the Lindo Mar hotel.

Costa de Oro is a fiscally stable association with a healthy reserve fund. Appropriate controls are codified in the up-to-date Bylaws.
