Wonderful mercado. Friendly vendors. Don’t be afraid to negotiate a bit or try another vendor - we were looking at a specific item and thought it was priced a bit high, went a bit further and found the same item for a much better price without any negotiation. For a VERY filling comida corrida, try Vicky’s! There is also a great juice/smoothie place… for a real treat order “licuado de mamey” and thank me later!

I was only there to eat but you can also buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

Vibrant, a lot happening, lots to see, smell, and touch. The Seafood tostada's we had were super fresh. Also bought a colorful handmade shoulder bag and some Mexican inscents. Great part is you don't really need to haggle like in other markets in other countries.

Colorful market with lots of variety. Vendors are engaging without being overly pushy - thus an enjoyable shopping experience. No foul odor either.

Great small but clean and organized market. A little bit pricy compared to other markets in the city but if you are in the neighborhood, do visit. Try the amazing tostadas with various toppings in the center of the market.

Great market to go to very tight and packed. Lots of flower and incessant burning. It kinda messed with my nose but it was still a great time.

A lively and colorful local market selling all sorts of goods from fresh produce, houseplants, to general Knick knacks and souvenirs. Worth a visit just to check out and get a feel of what the locals eat and shop for.

Great food, people and vibe. You'll leave very full and not spend as much. During the weekday the market is not as busy, so would recommend going then. If you want crowds, then Sunday is the day when all the locals come. Best place to eat carnitas is El Charro. Pork is excellent, crackling is fab and you get lots of delicious salsas to go with it. The peanut salsa is the hottest. 2 carnitas cost me 50 pesos. You'll find this place right at the back of the market. It is very well known so ask someone to show you. I would recommend taking at least 500 pesos if you want to eat a lot.
