My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting tour. The guide Gerardo was very passionate about showing us the real and local side of Cozumel. We even went into local farmers market and we’re shown various local produce, fish and meats. Everyone enjoyed the tour.

We booked the Cozumel Food Tour experience. It was an amazing experience from start to finish! I made a mistake when I booked our tour and Emily responded to my email within minutes and quickly fixed the issue. On tour day we found Gerry and his driver at the agreed upon location just steps from our cruise ship's berth at the Punta Langosta pier. Gerry was friendly and knowledgeable and each of the stops had an interesting food and beverage to try. Gerry's style of presenting the food got my somewhat picky eater son to try all of the dishes. We all enjoyed everything. Definitely recommend!

Emily and Veronica were the absolute best to work with. We utilized Cozumel Chef for a large private dinner at our Villa. Communication with them went seamlessly and while it was the first dinner I ever planned, and my wife and I said it was the highlight of our trip. The private chef and private bartender were so amazing, I just cannot believe the level of service that they provided. The food and drinks were second to none on the island. They created a menu based on what I wanted and it was 5 star. I had even asked the chef for a rum cake, and it was the best I ever had in my life. Thanks to this crew, It was a very special 50th birthday party I will never forget. If I had a special event, a wedding, a dinner or just wanted to pamper myself, I would call Cozumel Chef immediately... It's also worth noting that the prices are very, very good. I'll say it again, the kindness, work ethic, humility and talent of the crew at Cozumel Chef were extremely impressive. I cannot wait to book them again..... and if you are thinking about it, you will not regret it. My only regret is not booking them for all of our breakfasts as well.... Thank-You Emily, I'll never forget that special night and how you treated us like family.

We were looking for something different to do in Cozumel and decided to try the Cozumel food tour from Cozumel chef. We met at Mega and proceeded to go to several stops at small local eateries and toured the local market learning about the native produce. Gerry our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our tastes. My husband doesn’t normally like fish but ended up deciding to try it and boy was he happy he did, he loved the fish…and the tacos, and quesadillas, and soda de limon, and fresh tortillas. Our only advice is don’t eat breakfast because you sample so much food. You also get to try different beverages - try the disgusting looking barley water, it is sooooo good. I have to say this was one of the best excursions we have ever been on!

Gerry did a great job of leading us on our tour! This was our 2nd Cozumel Food Tour and this time we brought our son, daughter-in-law, and 5 year old grandson. We all loved it, and even our normally restless young grandson stayed interested and enjoyed the whole tour! Having our own dedicated taxi (van) for the entire tour made the tour comfortable and efficient. The variety of local food and drinks was perfect and it was so interesting to see how the locals eat, live, and prepare these meals. A "must do" when in Cozumel!

We loved our tour with Gerry!! The food was amazing at every stop!! We went to many places we would have never gone to and ate foods we wouldn't have known to order. You get drinks (beer, water, fresh juices) at every stop and plenty of information about the traditional dishes. Gerry was a wonderful guide and we truly enjoyed his company and information on the tour. I would do the tour again if we returned to Cozumel! Thank you so much for a great experience :)

Our Cozumel food tour was wonderful! We have been coming to Cozumel for several years, so we really enjoyed the out of the way places that Gerry took us to. it was especially interesting to visit the market and see how they handled the produce and meat. My wife's favorite food were the pork tacos. I think mine was the fried fish. All the food was very enjoyable.

My husband, 14-YO son, 76-YO mother and I took the Cozumel Chef Food Tour last week with Gerry as our guide. We had THE BEST time! We consider ourselves foodies and weren't sure if we'd get much out of the tour, but, boy, were we wrong! Gerry took us off-the-beaten-path to places we never would have found on our own and shared amazing historical & cultural knowledge of the foods. We ate a bunch over the course of the three hours and enjoyed local beverages as well. We give this tour a major thumbs-up.
