Service itself would be a 3/5. When you’re outside or at the pool I was never waited on. I always had to go get my own drink, so the bartenders were great and got all my tips!
The food is good including the room service!
Things to do: snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, pool, bingo, and pool volleyball. They have entertainment at night around 8p.
Vibes: not many young people there. There were probably less than 8 people under 25 years old. Definitely had an older group coming to relax after “retirement” type of vibes.
Only thing I hate is when I was trying to leave and After I checked out they try to sell you on a timeshare. I have a flight to catch and have already paid my dues and the man followed me out onto the street. That right there is a no no. But other than the pool staff and salesmen it was a good all inclusive hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. Family friendly but also still relaxing for couples without children.
A few opportunities for improvement for me would be:
- noise: there are activities at the pool during the day that sometimes involve a staff member on a microphone (which makes it hard to nap) as well as entertainment at night being quite loud.
- vegetarian options: the dinner options at the buffet were quite limited for vegetarians and the utensils aren’t designated to a particular dish, so I suspected cross contamination between non-meat and meat containing dishes (not a problem for everyone but I prefer to not have utensils used to serve meat mixed with those for vegetarian dishes)
That said, the hotel has been wonderful in terms of cleanliness, attentiveness, etc. I would look to stay here again next time I’m in Cozumel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tons of options at this resort. Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and more. Staff was super friendly. Drinks were delicious. Walking distance to town. Even the sunset view from the second floor was beyond amazing. Only suggestion if you go here… claim your chair by the pool early. People start chair blocking before 7am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed 8 days and were pleased. We travel pretty extensively, usually two all inclusive trips a winter. This resort is much smaller than most that we stay at, there is only 1 pool, very little beach area, and a limited amount of dining options (Mexican, Italian, Asian, the buffet, and Thai is available twice a week. Every dining option we had was wonderful. While there isn't much beach, you can snorkel right outside off the dock, and that was enjoyable. We loved the location of the resort as we could easily walk downtown for shopping or local dining. Over All a great stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozumel Palace was a fantastic place to stay! I cannot rave enough about the friendliness of ALL the staff. Everyone was so genuine, nice and accommodating. By dinner on our second night one of our waiters Julio remembered us and what we liked. We stayed in the loft which was a fantastic way to be together as a family but still have our own space as a couple. Location of the resort is great to walk to some shopping and places like Starbucks! 10 out of 10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really beautiful and top noch resort, although I didn't eat the food due to kosher reasons, it looked and smelled delicious. Great bar and great entertainment. Service is also amazing and it doesn't take long to get served. I would recommend to go there if you're looking for a real good and relaxing time. (I saw many kids so I guess its kids friendly) One small issue though, their attraction guides aren't giving many options and time flexibility, so I had to do that on my own. But was an amazing experience and definitely deserves 5 stars!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall this resort is really nice. The staff are super friendly. Beware, they push very hard when you arrive to suck you into their time share scheme. Just tell them no and be firm with the salesperson. The food was good, not great. Presentation was fantastic. We never had to wait to get a seat at a table and we were at the resort between Christmas and New Years when it was really busy. The New Year’s Eve party was awesome! We will probably go back just for this. Great shows and fantastic dinner for New Years. Overall I’m happy I chose Cozumel Palace and plan to return. Cozumel is much better than Cancun. Quiet and peaceful. FYI, there were a lot of families here, so screaming kids were part of the experience. The bar staff was awesome! Always had us taken care of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my gosh, what is fabulous place to stay! We had such incredible service from all of the staff, whether it was breakfast, drinks by the pool, lunch or dinner, everybody was fabulous! I really enjoyed talking to Carlos at breakfast, he talked a little bit about the island with me and is just an all around gem! The check in process was incredibly easy, from the moment we stepped onto the property we were welcomed with open arms, no request was a challenge.
Room service was quick and delicious! When I read some of the previous reviews, I was a little bit ambivalent about food and service, I did not experience any of that, nor did anybody that we were with!
Rooms are fabulous, hammocks on the balcony, along with chairs and a table, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing before dinner. Beds are very comfy, plenty of closet space too.
Can’t think of anything less than wonderful to say!
