★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A visit here was part of a daytour from oaxaca. The natural process of spinning, dyeing, weaving was well explained by a man who spoke good English, spanish and zapotec. The prices of the carpets were however rather touristy, the same could be purchased for lesser in oaxaca and Mitla.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful works of art made with quality material. You can literally see each step that goes into making the lovely (and limited) pieces they sell. It'd be a great challenge of will not to get something when you visit, so keep some luggage space open. The owner/master weaver is very reasonable and his starting price is already extremely competitive.
The only reason this wasn't a 5 star was because the part of the tour was given by a lady who was very rude to me (likely because she assumed I wasn't going to buy anything even though I ended up purchasing quite a bit).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went as part of a tour. They showed us the process of making carpets, and it was extremely impressive. Of course they tried to sell some as well, but weren't pushy and remained very nice and respectful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a must to learn about the process of making all the colorful rugs. The guide provided in depth information on the process of getting each color, and explained how the machinery used works to create art. A worker was in the middle or crafting a rug, that would take about 90 days of work to complete. The guide explained that they work 6 days a week, and 8 hours per day. One person per product.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there with e tour guy. One of the guys working there explained us the process of me King the artisanal carpets. Very interesting. The use mostly natural materials during the whole process. Worth a visit. If you are interested in buying one, get ready to pay a lot of money. It takes around two months to make a carpet 1 meter long and half a meter wide.
