Ésta recopilación de 391 páginas está encaminada a ser una herramienta para el que el estudiante de medicina veterinaria y el Médico Veterinario que se dedica principalmente a las pequeñas especies pueda enfrentar el reto de un mejor manejo de mamíferos no convencionales utilizados como animales de compañía.
Grupo Comercio Responsable A. C. ha donado a distintas bibliotecas universitarias que imparten la carrera de medicina veterinaria ejemplares por cortesía. Si aún no se encuentra en tu facultad o escuela de veterinaria, pide que nos envíen de un correo institucional la solicitud para que enviemos a vuelta de correo un ejemplar en cortesía con los gastos pagados por las empresas y personas que nos apoyan.
Hoy, la FMVZ-CU, FESC Cuautitlán, UVM, UAM, UADY, Zoológico de Chapultepec, Zoológico de Aragón y Facultades de Venezuela y Colombia ya cuentan con ésta herramienta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gracias por todo el tiempo que atendieron a mis hurones, desafortunadamente tuve una mala experiencia en los últimos meses, estaría perfecto que actualizarán sus conocimientos acerca de algunas enfermedades.
Mi hurón fue diagnosticado con insulinoma a finales del mes de Enero y empezó a recibir medicamento para evitar signologia, a finales de marzo presentó un cuadro y nos recomendaron subir la dosis de medicamento, mi hurón no presentó cuadros después de subir la dosis, pero ya no jugaba con sus hermanos, caminaba un poquito y se echaba.
Decidimos acudir a una segunda opinión y al parecer fue un mal diagnostico, hemos retirado el medicamento de poco en poco hasta retirarlo al 100%, realizado curvas de glucosa y tomas de la misma para poder confirmar o descartar la neoplasia y todo ha estado perfecto, mi bebé otra vez juega y se ve muy bien, sin embargo, la dosis que estaba tomando era muy alta según me lo indican y ahora también tenemos que descartar algún daño en sus órganos.
Las instalaciones del criadero de hurones son perfectas y agradezco infinitamente al MVZ Miguel Ángel por responder todas mis dudas lo mas pronto posible, pero creo que el costo de los estudios merecen un buen diagnóstico y sobre todo, un tratamiento o seguimiento que brinde la mejor calidad de vida posible a nuestros hurones. Me quedo con lo bueno de este lugar que nos atendió y brindó su atención durante poco más de cuatro años, espero este comentario les sirva para mejorar. Mis mejores deseos para todo el equipo del criadero de hurones.

My ferret was diagnosed with insulinoma at the end of January and began to receive medication to avoid signs, at the end of March he presented a condition and we were recommended to increase the dose of medication, my ferret did not present symptoms after increasing the dose, but already he did not play with his brothers, he walked a little and lay down.
We decided to go for a second opinion and apparently it was a misdiagnosis, we have withdrawn the medication little by little until it is 100% withdrawn, performed glucose curves and took them to confirm or rule out the neoplasm and everything has been perfect, my baby is playing again and looks great, however the dose he was taking was too high as instructed and now we also have to rule out any damage to his organs.
The facilities of the ferret farm are perfect and I am infinitely grateful to MVZ Miguel Ángel for answering all my questions as soon as possible, but I think that the cost of the studies deserves a good diagnosis and above all, a treatment or follow-up that provides the best quality. of possible life to our ferrets. I am left with the good thing about this place that served us and gave us its attention for just over four years, I hope this comment will help you improve.
