Aprendimos cómo hacer tortillas y salsas y nos explicaron sobre la importancia de maíz y toda la preparación. Pasamos una tarde muy bonita aprendiendo y comiendo. Se lo recomiendo a cualquier persona interesada en la comida mexicana y la buena compañía. Lily y Flo nos hicieron sentir en casa y disfrutamos mucho! We did a cooking class at Criollito and it was the best! We learned how to make tortillas and sauces and they explained to us about the importance of corn and all the preparation. We spent a very nice afternoon learning and eating. I recommend it to anyone interested in Mexican food and good company. Lily and Flo made us feel at home and we really enjoyed it!

Probamos los desayunos y las comidas, las porciones son llenadoras, solo tengan cuidado con las espinacas, si bien la señora me indico que las desinfectó, no las lavan, tenían todos los bichos ahí, por eso no la comí. De ahí en fuera todo rico y no nos hizo daño. Altamente recomendable y buenos precios. Criollito is one of those places with its own personality, the decoration is fabulous, it was very much to my liking. We tried the breakfasts and meals, the portions are filling, just be careful with the spinach, although the lady told me that she disinfected them, they don't wash them, they had all the bugs there, that's why I didn't eat it. From there on out all rich and did not hurt us. Highly recommended and good prices.

I’ve come here 5x now and each time it exceeds expectations in quality and service. Lily, Ricardo, and Flor are all really experts in what they do whether it’s Oaxacan staples like memelas and Tlayudas or Oaxacan Pizza. If you’re in the area and looking for a really creative, yet traditional take on Oaxacan antojos, Criollito is a must. Especially if you’re coming to Tlacolula!
