Para empezar, la carretera que lleva a La Concordia está llena de baches, de verdaderos hoyancos, de curvas mal planeadas y cuando finalmente se llega a La Concordia... otra odisea encontrar un lugar decente para comer. Mejor llevar de comer y de tomar.
De ahí, llegar hasta el cementerio local y tomar el camino -de terraceria- e ir preguntando por el camino correcto, porque sólo hay un par de piedras y un letrero en el tronco de un árbol que indica la dirección hacia el Cristo.
Mucho polvo, mucho calor y caminar abriendo y cerrando trancas.
Aproximadamente un kilómetro y medio cuesta arriba y a pie, se llega al lugar.
No recomiendo llevar niños pequeños. Y sí mucha agua.
The place is spectacular, but getting there is an odyssey.
To begin with, the road that leads to La Concordia is full of potholes, real potholes, poorly planned curves and when you finally reach La Concordia... another odyssey to find a decent place to eat. Better to take food and drink.
From there, go to the local cemetery and take the dirt road and ask for the right path, because there are only a couple of stones and a sign on the trunk of a tree that indicates the direction to Christ.
A lot of dust, a lot of heat and walking opening and closing bars.
About a kilometer and a half uphill and on foot, you reach the place.
I do not recommend bringing small children. And yes a lot of water.
