There is definitely room for improvement but we quite enjoyed our stay. We are not fussy people and don't spend much time in room. Check in was slow and they give no information regarding what is offered at the resort. We weren't able to get the king size bed we requested. There was no bell boy and we had to ask where to go to find our room. We read lots of complaints about the food but it was really quite tasty, they should have covers to keep the heat in as the food was not very warm. We didn't try the specialty restaurants as we were content with the buffet. The rooms are old but clean and the bed was comfortable. Good pressure in the shower and the AC worked well. We were 6th floor ocean view and enjoyed our balcony. The pool was warm and we spent a lot of time in there. Only complaint would be that there are not enough umbrellas and the music was far too loud by the pool. Magdalena who serves at the pool is amazing! We do plan on returning.

A really great resort!! Lots of food options and the thing that I liked most was the friendly workers/waiters/staff! The beach view was also really great with a big pool and a fairly big hot tub! Drinks were served cold and delicious!! I’m the evenings you can enjoy a show in the nitro club also a plus! Would definitely recommend going here!!

We had a great stay for one week, we had a great view on the ocean, our fridge was always full, the service was great, especially at the breakfast buffet by Miguel and Nicolas. The only thing is that you can hear almost everything in the hallways and upstairs from the rooms. Food was great and the weather was perfect. Family friendly resort and great bang for your buck, would go again in a heart beat ♥️?

Set your expectations appropriately. This hotel is far from what is/was advertised. It isn’t absolutely terrible and the staff are friendly, but it’s far from what we expected based on videos, pictures, etc. It’s a cheap, poorly maintained property, with inexpensive food, drinks, and accommodations. It’s far from “romantic” and it’s far from luxurious. It’s not secluded in any way, and frankly, it’s quite tacky. We came here on a whim based on the advertising and Trip Advisor reviews, but let me tell you, it is absolutely nothing like advertised. It’s a completely run down, bottom of the barrel type accommodation. If you’re looking for absolutely basic, this is for you. I will say it’s decent for the amount you spend so I can at least say it’s “valuable”. Pros are: no kids, adult only, and the staff are extremely nice.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Please pay close attention to the negative reviews of this property; good travelers take the time to write warnings about this place for a good reason. EVERYTHING NEGATIVE you can read here is accurate and something more. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we realized the mistake we made ignoring the reviews; the staff was rude and not well trained to interact with people. Everywhere around the property showed deterioration and dirty, no one cares about the facilities and the guests The food in the buffet is pure rubbish! We have never seen anything like it. Breakfast was terrible too; the quality was inferior (keep in mind that bacon is not an option, they keep it behind the omelet station counter, and it feels like you're begging for it). "Specialty Restaurants with reservations" are better but nowhere near the lowest standard. Our room was full of hair everywhere; the phone didn't work the entire stay, so we couldn't call the front desk to ask for towels, room service, or anything else. We were locked out of the room several times due to malfunction keys; on day three, we asked the front desk to put us in a different room, and they flat out said: "that's not an option" and kept sending the same maintenance person to check the phone line. Finally, on day four, we requested to speak to a manager, and they sent "the executive chef on duty" the guy was clueless and did nothing to help. We feel like we were completely ignored, in two words, NEVER AGAIN!

We recently stayed here for 5 nights and we were very happy with out stay. The resort was clean, great beach access. However make sure you get towels and reserve chairs early as poolside and beach chairs go fast. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and view. The resort rooms are outdated but housekeeping staff was definitely on top of cleaning! Our only complaint was that the resort ran out of bottled water and our room fridge wasn't stocked the whole time we were there despite multiple calls and physically stopping at the front desk to ask about it. They said sometimes they run out of bottled water so we had to fill up our yeti cups at the bar with ice water or go to the pharmacy across the street and buy our own. We had friends also staying at the resort and their fridge was stocked with water and beer once, but ours never was. Overall though we really enjoyed our time at this resort but we weren't prepared for the issue with water.

We just got home and we have had an amazing stay with this resort. Though if you are someone who is used to staying at dreams or secrets or equivalent too you may not find this resort to be as great for you. The staff works very hard to keep you entertained Jose does an amazing job at the poolside with the drinks. Rooms were very clean the hotel main lobby and areas were kept clean With people cleaning and updating things constantly around the resort. Very satisfied with the amount of restaurants to choose from I believe there are 7 plus your buffets a lot of buffet and restaurants available on the clubside which you have access to and that is great. We had such a great time there we had already booked for Christmas before landing back home Can't wait to see all my Crown family in December

Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff is AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Drinks are good. Only complaint is the pool not being open long enough (9 pm close even on the adult side), as well as the buffet food being hit or miss. The restaurants have delicious food. Cleaning and water service was great. Lots of cabanas on the beach to choose from, and great location. As a younger group of travellers, this place really exceeded our expectations!
