Situada en las faldas del cerro burro, en el estado de Michoacán, encontramos el pueblo de Cuanajo, lugar conocido en mayor medida por sus artesanías en madera y ropa bordada, oficios que se han enseñado de generación en generación.
Además de artesanías, en Cuanajo como todos los pueblos de la región, cuenta con sus costumbres muy particulares, como son sus festejos religiosos y de estaciones del año.

Fallecio el 5 de abril de 1907 a la edad de 64 años, para este momento tenia 8 hijos con Josefa Lemus, les lego 44 propiedades mayormente en montes, sobre las cuales tenia 900 cabezas de ganado, todo valorado en $11940.
