Los dibujos son de diferentes épocas desde 500 DC hasta la conquista. Los trazos son muy claros. A partir de la carretera 45 (esta señalado aproximadamente Km 50), hay un tramo pavimentado (aproximadamente 5) km, luego un tramo de buena terracería (aproximadamente 3 km) y luego un tramos de mala terracería aproximadamente 3 km) para esta ultimo necesitas camioneta alta, En este camino hay varias huertas y ranchos, no se siente tan solo, luego encuentras un anuncio del INAH, al lado de unas letrinas de piedra donde debes dejar el auto y caminar. . La vereda esta razonablemente bien definida, con piedras blancas, es una agradable caminata (sumamente recomendable hacerla muy temprano en la mañana) con piedras y una pendiente aproximadamente de 40 grados de promedio, que va bordeando un arroyo, si hay silencio se oye hermoso el sonido del agua al correr, los paisajes son bonitos y te encuentras fauna pequeña. Los últimos 20 metros para llegar a las cuevas es un poco más angosto y empinado, pero nada serio. El regreso hay rutas alternas: una más corta, con pendiente de unos 50 grados de bajada (sin subidas) con bastantes más piedras, pero no tan bonita, pero no están señaladas. Si te puedo dar una indicación seria ir en dirección a las espaldas de la cueva (ya se que es muy vago). Llevar agua y bocadillos, pues no hay ningún comercio por ahí. ¡Estaba bastante limpio, por favor, si visitas llévate tu basura!
