How yo get the around around on customer servir. Ir should i say Lack of good service

They are helpful, but best to do your homework if purchasing a phone. Excellent selection and they always seem to have everything in stock. Some agents do speak English.

Run around customer service. Two different answers from two different staff people. Have to return a third time to get it done correctly

Customer service is decent, but they take long to process your requests

I speak fair Spanish, which is a good thing, because there were no English speaking agents that day. Telcel had already told me they could get me Mexican cell service if my phone was unlocked. They were true to their word. After getting T-Mobile to unlock my phone, I went to this center. Bought a paquete (way easier than a plan), they installed a sim chip, confirmed that it worked, and got me on my way. The cost of the sim chip was minimal and I got a good $200peso monthly paquete deal too. All in all I walked out with cell service, free social media, unlimited calls and texts, free calling to Mx, US, and Canada, and 1.5mb of data. Total cost was $349pesos, or $18us at current exchange rates. I’m saving something like $100us/month compared to my monthly T-Mobile bill. Service at the desk was great. Very patient with my spotty Spanish, explained everything clearly and slowly, very competent. Service is a little slow, but if you are willing to be patient, they will take care of you.

I'm sure it has something to do with being an expatriate and not knowing the ins and outs of Méxican cell phone service and plans, but this has to be one of most confusing aspects of living here. More often than not, my service is stopped and I have to pay for another month before the monthly billing cycle. The explanations never make sense, ranging from I didn't have this or that plan, or because I paid too early of all things! There was even a couple of cycles that lasted for 33 days for no apparent reason. The payments are less than what they would be in the States (on months when I do get an entire 30 days), but that only seems to happen only 50% of the time. Also, while it appears to be an industry standard in México, the phones themselves are priced astronomically high by U.S. standards. What would cost $200USD is closer to $1,000 here. All that said, the staff are friendly, but overall, cell phone service in México is one my least favorite things about this country.

Service is always excellent and plenty of parking is available.

The technician here fixed complex setting issues on our phone for no charge even though we didn't buy the phone there. Staff were patient and kind. Our Spanish is not good so 1 staff acted as translator between us and the technician
