I know this is cliche but if I had the choice I would give 0 stars. When my wife ? and I first checked in the staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately after shift change the power went out in the entire hotel. Apparently a transformer blew around midnight. I understand that this was not their fault but what happened after kinda was. Way after my wife and I were fast asleep (around 4am) we were obnoxiously woken up by very loud banging on our door. It caused me to immediately jump out of bed thinking the building was on fire or something serious was happening. When I went to the door (in the dark due to the power still being off) to check the peephole it was an employee of the hotel. He was yelling something to me in Spanish. Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish but my wife does. She was obviously awake after the banging. I had her go up to the door to speak with the hotel employee. He told her the reason he was banging was he had smelled cigarette smoke coming from our room before the power went out and he wanted to come in and perform an inspection. Just to remind you it in 4am and the power has been out for over 4hrs. She told him no and we would discuss what was going on in the morning. He then proceeded to make threats to throw us out. She was able to come to an agreement with him due to him waking us up 4 hrs after the complaint was made and it being 4am. After he left we tried to go back to sleep with no success so we went to the front desk to make a complaint. When we got to the front desk the we talked to the night manager. He then told us there was no complaint but he smelled the cigarette smoke coming from our room before the power went out. He told us that he put his nose to the door and could tell cigarette smoke was coming from our room. My response was #1 what are you smelling our door for and #2 why didn't you knock on the door when you first smelled it. He could not give any kind of answer that made since. We were going to stay one more night but because of the events that unfolded we immediately check out and found another hotel to stay at. I personally would never stay at this Days Inn but you do you and good luck

I try to express my disdain, but fear that words cannot convey my agony. The room is filthy and reeking of mildew; the air is unbreathable. It is clear to me that this place is a scam, and I am livid at the thought that I am out of a month’s rent because of this place. I had stayed here for a month and asked for a refund at the end of my stay that was promised to me. They did not give me the refund because the manager said that it wasn’t his fault that I checked out early. They have no room service, and now they kept over $1,500USD because they held my deposit. Furthermore, they are scam artists, and they need to be shut down immediately.
