★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't typically leave reviews but I had a really frustrating experience with Debora. I am a first time buyer in Mexico and was looking for legal help with a real estate contract. At first Debora was super responsive, but didn't send any formal request for securing her services. Since I am a first time buyer in a different country I am not well versed with the process of securing a lawyer and purchasing a property. I was looking for her expertise and guidance. She communicated to me that she was going to start looking into the contract, title details, etc. She told me when she would reach back out to me and when that deadline came, she missed it. My communication with her was mostly on Whatsapp. I know that English is not her first language, but her messages were written poorly. She was not adept at setting and keeping clear timelines and her communication was unprofessional. When I reached out the day after the deadline, she was really hard to get ahold of. Eventually she replied and said she would have updates and information for me in a few hours. A few hours passed, no updates. I reached back out and she rudely communicated that if I didn't stop bothering her she would have to let me go as a client. Needless to say, I chose to discontinue my communications with her and move on to find proper legal guidance. So now here we are, I have secured proper legal guidance and am hoping that this review will encourage you to do better research than I did when hiring a lawyer.
