Delfines Rentail Cozumel - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

Car broke directly in front of the car rental and it took over an hour to get a replacement car.

We were referred to them by Fiesta, because they didn't have a car available. Delfines charges you 70 USD + 35 USD insurance per day for an old car with over 100.000 km and no electric windows. Absolutely scammers!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They gave us broken mopeds and a buggy that wouldn’t reverse. One moped kept stalling in the middle of the road and was so dangerous. When they came to collect the vehicles they claimed we had damaged a moped and demanded payment. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Delfines rental is a total scam and the worst place on Cozumel. The Jeep was in terrible conditions with no working seatbelts, alignment was off and would swerve on the road. Came back and they accused us of causing damages to their car which were already there and tried to make us pay for it. We had a video to prove it was already there, and still the employee made up at all sorts of reasons and waved the deposit receipt in our faces threatening us that we wouldn't get the deposit and credit card details back unless we pay. Eventually we called the police on them and suddenly they said "we inspected the car again and decided we won't charge you" Please do not rent a car from this place ever.

We rented a scooter for two days and had an absolute blast. The kind gentlemen were outside our place with the scooter at set time and explained everything thoroughly. Next time we go to Cozumel we will use this company again. People complaining about their scooters breaking down- welcome to the world of scooters! Ours thankfully was absolutely fine!

We had a great experience with Mario and his family company. We texted Mario on whatsapp and he dropped off the scooter at our hotel within the hour. The price was very reasonable. He picked up the scooter from our hotel when we were done with our stay.

The Jeep we rented was old and run-down, but that worked for us. We worked with Cristian who was straight-forward and helpful. He also gave us information about our drive that proved useful also. Overall, I was happy we went through this small business.

Really good experience, I treated directly with the owner for the rental of an automatic Nissan and all went well!
