★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Japanese right in the heart of Mexico! Surprised at how good it was, especially the karaage. The miso ramen was good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food with healthy vegan options. Prices are fair. The atmosphere is very chilled, it’s a nice place to spend some time especially outside. There is a young waiter who is probably the most friendly person I’ve ever met. Totally recommend! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They require to take temperature by pointing temperture GUN AT YOUR HEAD or neck or they refuse service. We asked if they could take temp on our arms, wrists or hands instead (Im reasonable) and they refused us service unless we were submissive to their way. Logically, the temperature would not vary by much so this is ridiculous protocol...
The head and neck are sacred spaces and my beliefs are not in line with pointing anything at my head especially just for sushi! It felt like segregation and discrimination. Come on, wake up and stop the unnessary division between people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went twice to this establishment and really think the various sushi rolls are delicious and are presented beautifully. The miso soup is delicious if not slightly too salty for me personally. Maybe that is what the people prefer..
The one thing I would say is that, as having lived in Japan and being half Japanese, it would be easy for this restaurant to have a 100 percent Japanese menu and not have to include a Thai curry on their lunch menu, but rather a Japanese curry, Tonkatasu, gyoza, tempura, taco yaki or any of the domburi's (rice bowl with various topping) that normally people go so crazy for in other countries. After all we have a lot of really tasty dishes..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems the best time to visit the place is after 17:00hrs, when they have more options from the menu... but the place is small, so the chances you get a seat are low... I would recommend the owners to offer everything from the menu all day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a little bit pricey. The food was good and tasty. Very good drinks. I really enjoyed this place but it is not cheap at all. They have plenty of vegan options and they also offer a lot of seafood options. Their doing great about the cleaning and so because of the covid19, so feel free to have dine in at this place. #YoSoyNat #LetsGuide #OnGoogleMaps #LocalGuides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet little spot right between 2 of the more famous restaurants in town. I was hankering for sushi, and liked everything we got except maybe the sushi lol. The miso soups are HUGE, the garlic edamame is incredible. The staff is very sweet & works hard. I'd say do NOT get the veggie sushi roll, it's basically lettuce and a sliver of cucumber wrapped in rice - we had to doctor it up with the garlic edamame sauce and soy sauce to make it edible - it needed a FAT in it like avocado, etc. and could have easily had a variety of veggies given the incredible produce in Mexico? anyway consider yourself warned on that, we were told the chicken teriyaki roll wasn't available and I wish we'd gotten something else. But I'd totally give this place another shot! Great vibe at tables above the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! A delightful surprise to encounter such tasty Asian food in the middle of Mexico ??. The green curry with tofu was spot on. Both authentic (yes, we’ve spent two months in Thailand—so not a fantasy, but a reality) and tasty, it had just the right texture and the tofu was super fresh. The Japanese bento, though tasty and reasonably priced, would not exactly pass muster in Japan (yes, I loved there for ten years so I should have a reasonable idea of what would and wouldn’t pass) but was very good, nonetheless. Certainly worth a visit if you have a hankering for Asian food done well.
