I visited Nayarit with my wife and two children. I stayed at the Delta Hotels Marriott Riviera and the service was exceptional. We were treated like we were at home. Hugo, Luciano, Silvestre, Gustavo, and Guadalupe were amazing to us. They helped us everyday we were there. They went above and beyond to take care of our needs before we even asked for any help. They were so professional and so friendly but yet very humble. My family and I appreciate all of them and all the staff who were there to make our vacation wonderful. We are so happy that we stayed there and will come back soon with more family members. Thank you mi amigos.

The property is brand new and is clearly still in a "soft opening". It is built in a ravine in the hills and, as a result, it is fairly hilly. The hotel accommodates this with a fleet of golf carts constantly shuttling guests around, but we enjoyed the walks around the property which looks positively magical at night. Some facilities such as the lazy river and some swimming pools are still under construction but were not distracting. The property will be magnificient once it is fully open. The facilities that are available are top notch and the dining was excellent - the best we have ever had in an all-inclusive resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The king bed we had was like sleeping on a cloud. We only stayed for 4 nights so we did not find the lack of entertainment to be an issue. This property is not beach front, but they provide a shuttle to a nearby beach club which also includes food and beverages. The beach club is next door to the Riviera Nayarit Marina which has an excellent farmer's market on Sundays. The beach and facilities are beautiful and relaxing. The only issue is that the shuttle is occasionally inconsistent with its pick up and drop off times. A nice feature of this resort is that COVID antigen testing is complimentary and done onsite which makes it easy for travellers. Overall, the staff were very hospitable and eager to make our stay enjoyable. We would like to return once the hotel is complete to enjoy the full experience.

I stayed there for 5 days and it was like heaven. It's brand new so there is still some construction going on but the highlights of this place was the staff (Julio, I call him Don Julio, he is a very friendly guy who drives the shuttle, Veronica the cleaning lady who left me a flower with a nice note. Kelly, Ignacio who served for dinner are excellent. Hosmani and Cristobal who usually work in the lobby bar were very friendly as well. Ana the Yoga teacher, everyday at 10 am she teaches Yoga. There were many other staff whose names I did not get but were very friendly and helpful. P.S. because this is an all inclusive place, the tips you give each staff will go a long way to helping them and also you will be well taken care off (give them cash in hand) The food was amazing.

After a crazy 2 years, this was our first trip away and the first time ever staying in an all inclusive resort. We were hoping for a relax and reset where we could turn our brains off and this amazing place did not let us down. Can’t say enough good things about our time here. The room was brand new and meticulously clean. The location was gorgeous. The grounds were constantly being cared for and the staff were as good as it gets. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were having the best possible experience. Extra thanks to Silver, Hugo, and Caesar for going the extra mile to care for us during our stay. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 5 day vacation at this resort. It was exactly what we needed and we enjoyed every second of our stay! Firstly, the staff are incredibly kind/warm/friendly and really go the extra mile to make your stay special! It was my girlfriends birthday and we showed up to our room with a birthday cake made out of towels, sign, and chocolate cake in our room :) (thank you Veronique!!). The resort is brand new. The rooms were fantastic and the property is in great shape! There definitely is construction going on at the moment for the lazy river (which will be amazing when it’s complete) but it didn’t impact our stay/activities or prove to be a disruption. Yes you can see some construction workers and a fence or two, but you forget about it pretty quickly once you are poolside with fajitas and drinks in hand. The resort is also smaller than other resorts we’ve been to. But we actually loved that! It’s nestled in the mountains and you get to just unwind and relax without the craziness of a typical resort. There is also a beach club that you get shuttled to (15min ride or so) if you need to get your fix. The food was overall fantastic and the service was incredible. There is always the odd dish or two that you don’t like based on personal preference, but there were always other great options at the buffet, and a good menu selection for the other restaurants. The BBQ night in the garden was our highlight! Lastly, the front desk staff were exceptionally helpful with arranging taxis/rides and helping with special requests (we went on a fishing charter in Punta Mita during one of the days). If you are in the fence about the resort and want a nice place to unwind and relax without being crowded with other tourists, this is your place! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back :)

Staff... fabulous!!!! Rooms ok but our bedside lamp was broken, the ceiling fan didn't work and when we checked in we had 1 towel and not much in the mini fridge. Odd not to have a mini coffee maker in room but we are Elite members so we had access to a pantry on the ground floor. Just not convenient. Food was always a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Dinner was themed. Food was standard there. But lunch at the poolside bar was excellent ? Very hilly location and everything is a separate building so we had to call and request a golf cart to get us anywhere. Spa was worth every penny and had a wonderful massage with my partner. We got the fire and earth ritual...highly recommend. Construction was going on but the noise wasn't horrible. Overall whole not inexpensive, the price was pretty good for an all inclusive. I wouldn't recommend to a fully with small kids or singles looking for action and loud music. None of that here. It was relaxing which is what we wanted. I had hoped for more from the facilities and menu choicest since it was a Marriott.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! THIS RESORT IS A DISASTER! -- This was by far the WORST HOTEL experience ever. From the moment you arrive at your villa to the pool, there are construction trucks everywhere. They are actively excavating for a new tower and it's far from a relaxing experience. . TERRIBLE FOOD. I don't even know where to begin. THE WORST FOOD I've ever had. The buffet dinner was bland, overcooked, and embarrassing. I thought the poolside BBQ lunch would at least be a break from the awful dinner we had the night before, but it was worse. The hamburger was inedible. There are no other options unless you count the broken ice cream machine in the ridiculous "pantry." . We had NO HOT WATER in our villa. Then we found out there was NO WATER in the tower all day and nobody from the hotel bothered to post a note or warn anyone ahead of time. . The list goes on. The staff is friendly and sympathetic, but we had to get out of here ASAP as the problems just kept adding up. It started feeling like the resort was cursed and so was our vacation. We barely stayed 24 hours trying to be patient and roll with the punches. But once we settled into our other new rental, we kept talking about how awful it would have been to be stuck at the Delta longer than we had to. . Shame on you Marriott. This place is a disaster and you're not even letting customers fill out satisfaction surveys because you don't want the truth posted to your website. The website is NOT an accurate representation of the resort. Don't ruin your vacation by booking here. Stay far, far away.

I stayed at this property in January and had a wonderful experience! Parts of the resort are still under construction, however, I felt that the price of our stay was reflected in that. The hotel stay was truly amazing and made us feel so welcome. There were such few guests at the resort that all the staff knew our names. The spa was terrific and I really enjoyed the massage. We didn't make in reservations in advance and they were able to easily fit us in for treatments. Ana-Joy who is the director of guest services was so friendly and took it upon herself to make sure we had a great trip.
