The nice things others have written about Dr. Medina and his office are true. The problem is that he did two implants for my son (placed the first part, the abutment) and we were going to have them finished in the USA. One of them failed. I may revise this rating if and when we return to have it fixed. This is a general problem of dental tourism: when things go wrong, it's not easy to go back! EDIT: Adding a star for your response. Dr Medina treated my wife in the most professional and ethical manner. His staff is friendly and accommodating. We highly reccomend his practice.

Dr. Medina took me in as an Emergency patient today. I cannot say enough good things about him. I was in much pain and his.bedside manner was able to calm my nerves. The treatment was the least stressful I have ever experienced (abscessed tooth extraction) He explained everything to me from my xrays and generally made my visit as pleasant as one can expect. If I lived here he would definitely be my dentist of choice. The office is well appointed and immaculate . I thoroughly recommend him!

Dr. Medina lives up to the reviews he has gotten in the past and this one! He and his staff were very nice and professional. I was shown the abscess I had in the X-rays and he was thorough in explaining how it happened. I had to have my tooth removed, which was performed with care. I highly recommend his services!

I am a dentist in the United States. I was on vacation with my brother in law when his lingual bonded retainer broke. We found Dr Medina and he let me have a little fun in his office. It was a wonderful experience! Absolutely everything in his office is TOP notch Equiptment and materials. His build up material is the same used by one of the top cosmetic dentists in the USA Bill Strupp. His endo scope is from Carl Zeiss the undisputed king of optics. When he places implants he places Nobel Biocare one of the leading implant brands so that you can go to a dentist anywhere in the world and they will be familiar with it. (Strumann and Nobel are the Lexus and Mercedes Benz of dental implants). Even his hand pieces are spectacular; electric and WH so that means you have smooth burr rotation which translates to fine polish and well sealed margins. I could go on and on. Both his parents are dentists and they do a good amount of the lab work. You can tell this is a passion of his and he loves his work. I would not hesitate to have him work on me! Also if his worst review is 3 stars because of a failed implant, he is good. Their is no guarantee with biology. Perfectly placed implants on healthy people have about a 96% success rate. That means 4% of the time they just fail and we could place another and it could be perfect. A well regarded specialist once told me that if you meet someone that hasn’t had a failure doing something it means they have not done it very much. :)
