I stayed at Departments Calicanto for research summer in 2019, my stay was pretty good overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El departamento esta muy bien en todos los sentidos, la vista espectacular, el costo súper accesible el único inconveniente es el coche se deja en la calle o pagas por hora en estacionamiento publico, todo está cerca caminando.
Muy recomendable.
The apartment is very good in every way, the spectacular view, the super accessible cost the only drawback is the car is left on the street or you pay per hour in public parking, everything is close walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La ubicación parece que es lejana al centro de la ciudad, pero en realidad no está lejos llendo a pie. Las habitaciones son hermosas, tiene todo lo necesario y algunas cosas que no son necesarias. Es un poco difícil, eso sí, llegar a la estadía, y más aún encontrar estacionamiento si es que el cercano está cerrado (me sucedió).
The location seems to be far from the center of the city, but it is not really far away on foot. The rooms are beautiful, it has everything you need and some things that are not necessary. It is a little difficult, yes, to get to the stay, and even more to find parking if the nearby is closed (it happened to me).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice studio apartment on the second floor with a kitchen (no stove) mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. Two full beds and a flat screen on a TV stand with basic cable. A small but adequate bathroom with a shower (yes, there is hot water)
No screens on the windows and no air conditioning or heater.
Maid service was included once for every three days paid.
Seemingly safe neighborhood only 10 minute walk going down the hill to downtown Guanajuato. Residential area with no small stores or eateries nearby.
