Don Eleazar Gámez, quien ha sido llantero durante 30 años, cuenta cuál es el procedimiento para sanear una llanta que se ponchó o que se le atascó un clavo, tornillo o un objeto punzocortante, pues desde sus 17 años empezó con este negocio de cambiar llantas o repararlas para que los conductores puedan seguir andando en su vehículo.

HERRAMIENTAS.
Dentro de una vulcanizadora se encuentra varias herramientas y aparatos como la cruceta, el gato, desmontadora, el compresor de aire, boquillas, mangueras, desmontadora
PROCEDIMIENTO.
Don Elezar Gámez comenta que primero que nada, para poder quitar la llanta; tiene que ponerle un gato para que se eleve y, de esa manera, quitar fácil la llanta, se necesita extraer los birlos dejándolos en un lugar a la vista y que no se vayan a perder; después de esto se retira la llanta del coche y se pasa por una tinaja de agua para limpiarla y checar dónde está la zona de la fuga del aire.
