Dharma - Cabañas & Camping - 71814 Lagunas de Chacahua

Dharma cabanas is a wonderful calm place to enjoy your stay in Chacahua. A perfect place to chill in the hammock and take a swim into the ocean. There is a kitchen and the atmosphere is relaxed and I really enjoyed my stay. Iris is always there to help with whatever you'll need. Hope to came back ?

I had an awesome stay of 3 weeks at Dharma with Kris running the place. He is a great social guy, helping out a lot. You can always drink a beer with him, chat or play a rummikub or cardgame. For me he became a good friend. The location is perfect, nice quiet, 20 min walk to town/surfbreak. During the day its hot, so if you need a ride to town for shopping he can take you with the quadbike. I was a month before also 1 week at Dharma with Kris mom Iris, very social and helpful too. Bonfire occasionally on the beach? Not to many people that can stay at Dharma, this made it very nice to socialize ? And Chacahua is magical?

Fantastic place on the beach, very secluded from town, but only a 20 minute really nice walk along the beach. The place is great, nice kitchen, Cabanas look amazing (we were camping) and a very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go again, and might! :) Thanks Chris!

Staying at Dharma was an extraordinary experience. Our hosts Iris and Kris were very helpful and nice. They did everything to make our stay pleasant. We truly can recommend staying at Dharma. Anytime again. Thank you.

Had an amazing time at Dharma! The spot is simply amazing. Falling asleep with the sound of the waves. A basic kitchen with the best view free to use. And a really kind host that can help you arrange surfing lessons or a boat ride through the mangroves. Would love to come back.

I only can recommend staying at Dharma when you are in Chacahua, the place is really nice, you are basically alone at the beach and it's not to far from town. The Cabaña and Tippis are awesome and there is a fully equipped kitchen. Kris the owner is a really nice and helpful guy, it felt like staying with a friend. I will come back for sure to this little paradise!

Wow!!! Chacahua is an amazing place if you want to relax with not too many people. We LOVED it here. Most of the times you had the beach in front of Dharma totally for yourself. It is not too far from the village, but also not too close (20 minutes walking). We slept in the Cabaña with own bathroom and it is super spacious! There is even an extra bed and a high small table inside. Outside you have your own hammock (2 in total) and a diningtable where you can eat or play some games. All in the shade because it gets very hot! Iris was amazing, she made sure that we felt super welcome and even gave us some rides on her quad. Iris also tipped us on a tour we had to take and we made a bonfire on the beach where we cooked some veggies! We stayed two months in total in Mexico, but Chacahua was our favorite place and that was also because of the cabana and Iris. We would definitely go back!!!

Perfect place on the beach. It's far enough from the little town that you can spend a whole day on the beach without seeing anyone. We LOVED our time here. 100 percent recommendation for the traveller who wants connection with nature. Kris, the owner, is friendly and helpful and can take you to two on the quadbike to get groceries.. Do not doubt booking here. We spend 4 nights in the open cabin by the beach and it felt private and secluded.
