They accept American dollars but only in bills and the change is in pesos. The minimum card payment is 50 pesos, I always end up buying something to be able to reach the minimum and get water.

While checking out, the cashier grabbed a pack of candy and added it to my single purchase. I went to get my money back and he put it back.
Don’t use a credit card here… or many places for that matter. Scams aren’t restricted to the street.
