★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a fan of BBQ and its associated foods, I found that my trip to dixies was quite disappointing. The only dish I really enjoyed was the fried Cauliflower. The brisket was quite dry and the sides under-seasoned -1. The food also took a long time to get to us, granted it was the weekend so we weren't that surprised -1. Expect more next time *if there is one

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As far as I can tell this may be one of the two authentic smokehouses in Monterrey. Get there early it gets really crowded on the weekends and as for a Carta Blanca beer (Monterrey's local brew)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasting barbecue!!! The place is very cozy with lots of attention to details, service was very good. I ordered brisket it was delicious! The meat was not dry, very tender, it comes with bbq on the side, pickles, onions and jalapeños.
The wife ordered a prime rib sandwich (its called french something) and she liked it, although it didn't really fill her up. She said that she was satisfied but not full, only a thin slice of prime rib on 2 pieces of bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the atmosphere and vibe of this restaurant. The interior had sufficient space for a big group and it was very tastefully decorated. The food was good, smoked bbq. Our only complaint was that we thought that the price point was a bit high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't hear with my fiance and we enjoyed our food. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak it was very tasty a little bit on the dry side.
the french fries tasted homemade.
the cole slaw was really good. my fiance ordered the pulled pork sandwich she said it was really good but it was missing some salt but nothing barbecue sauce can't fix. they have two types of BBQ sauce spicy and not spicy and it was really nice of the barbecue sauce came warm. the mac and cheese can't be ordered at the side it only comes as appetizer. the Ambiance is very nice rustic and trendy will definitely return and recommend to friends.
