★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a working Zapotec farm where the family also weaves beautiful rugs with yarn dyed with natural and vegetable dyes. They also have rooms to rent via Air BnB, and will give private lessons in dyeing wool and weaving at a very reasonable price. Very friendly, very hospitable people. A little Spanish helps, but is not necessary.

I had a very short time to take the workshop and they made an effort so I could make it on my tight schedule. It's been a great experience! You can definitely feel it when people enjoy what they do. I'm looking forward to go back again in the future!
