Better care than any dentist I've had back in Alberta and for 1/4 the price I've had 1 crown and 2 crown on abutments done by Dr Cesar in 5 years. It takes a week in total because he does the impression and makes a temp crown the first day, then a couple days later he gets the raw porcelain crown back from the lab and fits it and makes any fine bite and clearance adjustments, then sends it back to the lab for hardening in a kiln. A few days later you return and have it permanently bonded into your mouth. Going to begin the process for one more crown on abutment this afternoon. Takes a week beginning to end. I had the implants (Straumann) and 3 molar extractions done by periodontist, oral surgeon and implant specialist Dr. Juan Lizárraga Gastélum whose office is a block away from Dr Gavito. Absolutely painless...

Dr. Cesar Gavito is extraordinary, He truly has a passion for creating your most amazing smile. Dr. Gavito is without a doubt professional, thorough, courteous and flexible. He can email you his dental plan for your treatment and his English is prefect, he is very easy to understand. He also has a great sense of humor, nice virtue for a dental professional. His staff of dental assistants are very professional as well, their English is hit or miss which is alright because Dr. Gavito can hear and assist with everyone’s conversations. His office is not crowded just quaint with all of the most modern high tech. equipment available. Dr. Gavito ‘s office has only one dental chair, so when he is with you, you’re his only patient and you have his undivided attention, at present he is totally focused on your teeth and your dental situation. Dr. Gavito has no qualms about stopping the procedure and answering any questions you or his dental assistants may have. He is a very patient professional dentist who has a pleasant chair side manor. My first visit in April 2018 was unbelievable and with just the temporary results, everyone thought that my temporary crowns were my permanent crowned teeth. Dr. Gavito usually recommends that his patients return anywhere from two weeks to two months time for him to finish the permanent dental crowns. Writing this review in November tells you something about myself, and of course, I waited too long for my return visit for Dr. Gavito to adhere my permanent crowns, with that being said. Thanks to my procrastinating, one of the temporary molar crowns cracked after three months, then after a total of six months when chewing gum the same crown popped off into my mouth, all my own fault for waiting six months. Shame on me for not following Dr. Gavitos’ recommenced time frame. Once I finally returned after almost seven months, all is permanently wonderful. Y’all, don’t procrastinate!!! I can’t tell you how many unsolicited compliments I have received, folks telling me that “I have the prettiest smile and the most beautiful natural permanent crowns” they have ever seen. With just a couple of office visits, he has without a doubt changed my life for all the better. I highly recommend Dr. Gavito for any dental procedures you, your family and friends may need or want, he is just the best dentist ever. Had three bridges done almost nine years ago. Planing another trip down from the US to see this Dr. Gavito again soon. He and his staff were great - and the work performed fit and looked fantastic. Very professional. (I believe he trained and also did some teaching in US as well.). Very fair prices.

I absolutely abhor going to the dentist. Dr. Gavito makes it tolerable! Friendly, speaks great English, very good at explaining what work he is doing. Gives you much more of his time than a typical place trying to rush through patients.

I recently enlisted the expertise of Dr. Gavito to replace ten (10) old veneers and complete some bonding for lost fillings. Firstly, I found him to be welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and to speak fluent English. He was neither judgemenal nor pushy regarding the work necessary. When I needed to reschedule an appointment, he and his staff were amenable to the change. Having had the new veneers for more than a week, I am very happy with the results. His costs were very reasonable and the care he showed for both my comfort, safety and happiness was of the highest order. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who requires dental work.

This is my favorite dentist ever! Really gentle, kind, and knows his stuff. He speaks fluent English. Reasonable rates as well. Highly recommend!

I have had a great experience with this office starting back in Jan 2020 than again this winter of 2022. He recommended a surgeon to put 4 implants in for an upper arch which all went very smooth. Unfortunately I didn't go back for the permanent teeth in 2021 due to Covid but in 2022 I got back and he still charged me what what he quoted me in 2020 for the final arch! Which was suppose to be good for only one year. The prices are incredibly less than they are in the states. I will be back everytime I come back to Mazatlan! Hopefully only need a cleaning!
