★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No recomiendo a este Doctor. A un familiar le tuvo con dexametasona y reposo más de 1 año cuando en realidad ya necesitaba una cirugía por su hernia discal. El neurocirujano que le atendió dijo que realmente el Doctor Lauro no le había dado un buen diagnóstico a mi familiar.
Recomendación: Si tienen hernias discales, consulten con un traumatólogo diferente, además de un neurocirujano principalmente. Hay casos graves donde la hernia ya no se va a absorber y un traumatólogo como el Doctor Lauro no supo dar un buen diagnóstico después de ver el MRI de mi familiar. La dexametasona es un medicamento que no se debe recetar a la ligera.
I do not recommend this Doctor. He had a relative on dexamethasone and rest for more than 1 year when in reality he already needed surgery for his herniated disc. The neurosurgeon who treated him said that Dr. Lauro had not really given a good diagnosis to my family member.
Recommendation: If you have herniated discs, consult a different traumatologist, in addition to a neurosurgeon mainly. There are serious cases where the hernia will no longer be absorbed and an orthopedic surgeon like Doctor Lauro could not give a good diagnosis after seeing my relative's MRI. Dexamethasone is a drug that should not be prescribed lightly.
