★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owners were very polite and food was good. Not cheap but everything well prepared. Octopus was perfect. Tried the desert and it was okay. Meals were better. Except the chocolate croissant was extremely good and the staff hooked us up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is excellent. Nestled between many tourist traps, this place is the real deal. They have a Peruvian menu and an Italian menu, and they make it clear that they are not a fusion restaurant. You can't go wrong with either menu. We were a party of five and we ordered from both sides of the menu and everybody was satisfied. We had appetizers, full dinners, mixed drinks, and wine. The restaurant is owned by a husband and a wife, who are friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant has a very warm feel to it. I recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place for breakfast. We came here for breakfast for 12 days in a row and the food and service was always were always excellent! The morning waiter who served us most days is helpful, friendly and considerate. With our two little ones we created a bit of a mess sometimes and were sometimes a bit loud (toddler tantrums) but we were always made to feel welcome. The owners are a couple and you can tell that they put their heart into this lovely place! My favorite breakfast was the Mexicano! And my kids loved the Americano. The fresh fruit platter was always amazing too! I will most definitely come back next time I am in Playa Del Carmen.
