★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with big rooms, clean bathrooms, descent Wi-Fi (not perfect though) and a beautiful territory. There's a big parking zone at the entrance to it, and a few nice restaurants on the square across the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely overpriced. The rooms next to the cleaning closet smell like cleaning chemicals (111 & 110). 6 TV channels. Unbeknownst to me there are street parties every weekend (throughout the month of December) that start at 6pm and end at midnight. Live music is literally right outside the hotel. When I arrived I asked to be moved to a room off the street/upgraded and they said no. There’s maybe 2 other people at the hotel. Stay in Oaxaca. Do not stay in Mitla.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unique experience where you can learn a lot from the local community as well as what things you can do in the surrounding spaces. Ask for the manager and family member of the original owners of the establishment, "the engineer" or "el ingeniero" and listen to everything he has to offer. The rooms are beautifully decorated and tremendously comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very nice looking hotel, but significantly over-priced, compared to similar offerings in Oaxaca towns. Also, too many things don't work like they should. For the price, the hot water should simply work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect commodities, brand new and huge showers, dorms and kitchen and an amazing rooftop to chill. But more importantly the nicest owners I have ever met. Rodrigo, his mother and Mario will do literally every thing to help you. I had some issues and thanks to them I got it all fixed. The hostel is incredible, but the staff makes it priceless.
