Para caminar en la naturaleza es agradable. Difícil acceso con vehículo.
It is definitely a place where there are many energies. I think the place itself lacks maintenance. The bathrooms are dirty and the kitchen is neglected.
To walk in nature is nice. Difficult access with vehicle.

A young masked man with a machine gun robbed 5 of us at the top viewpoint. He turned a corner for a moment to get others with him and we ran for it down the mountain off trail.
Have heard this happened 2 weeks prior.
Warnings are being made for all mountain hikes in area as they are not safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t think many locals or taxi drivers will know this as “Don Lauro” but simply as El Mirador. You can go to where Google maps take you and simply keep following the dirt road all the way up. You’ll cross a normal paved road and continue again on the dirt road. You’ll see some signs here to make sure you’re going up the correct path. (Midway you’ll see a sign for ruta de águila or something like that; keep following that path) it’s a short hike. It’s a bit steep and if you never stop, it’ll take you 20-25 minutes to go up. You’ll be rewarded with a nice view at the top. I went on a random Tuesday morning and not many people were there.
