★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a family run business with the best homemade Yucatán food ever. This place has a very simple look and locals are the main clientele. The prices are cheap and the portions are big. They can also customize your dish however you want it. The staff is incredibly kind and the food was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to taste Mexican cuisine with some yucatecan classics (the cochinita pibil I took was amazing!) at very convenient price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the reviews are a bit outdated. We were here on 16.4.2019 and the prices were far from cheep, especially for the quality and size of the serving. Usually when visiting authentic local restaurants we eat together 1!! portion of "fajita de pollo" and are usually stuffed (we are both skinny). Here one portion was hardly enough for a single person. We ended up ordering additional meal. Second thing; the price for CocaCola is around 20-30pesos in this kind of restaurants. Here is no different, but usually in Mexico you get a 600ml bottle and in Dona Tina you get the small one (300ml).
The food wasn't that great, one of our meals was even a bit cold.
We've been traveling Yucatan for almost a month now and been to tons of local restaurants, so trust me when I say you are better off going to eat somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told this was the first restaurant in Tulum, built in the 60s. it was classic Yucatecan food, much more authentic the the rest on the ave. Go here if you're not scared of real local eats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been a favorite of ours for the past 13 years. I always get the chilaquiles verde and himself will get the garlic fish. Our 9 yr old son got the steak. Will check on other dishes and update captions. Great food and great prices. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ visited here for breakfast (but ordered main menus only). It’s typical Mexican local restaurant. Not super fancy, but delicious foods.
Habanero salsa and beans were so good, but meats doesn’t really have much characters.
