★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to do a dive. We went to the shop where I left my phone number. Didn't hear anything so e-mailed them. After no reply I called again, left my number again and got a reply on my e-mail, but in the end they forgot/didn't know I was coming/I should have called. Stupid communication. Too bad, because we really wanted to dive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did four dives, the first was a skill refresher as I hadn't dived for five years. The instructors were thorough and professional. I don't speak much Spanish and was diving with an all Mexican group but effort was made to include me and everything explained in English. Two dives were ok, two were great (one wreck) as far as stuff to see is concerned. Equipment was all ok and staff do all the post dive cleaning for you. Thanks Dorado Buceo, I had fun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dive shop with a Dive Instructor that speaks English and a crew that is very well qualified and very professional. Tell them what you want to see because Veracruz reefs have plenty to offer; wrecks, sallow and wall garden reefs. The guides know where the aquatic life is, so just follow the guides. Leave your dive gear in the states but bring your camera and other specialty equipment with extra supplies. If you're a solo diver (like me), I recommend this dive shop because of their popularity. I tried to dive with other dive shops but, the other guys do not have enough divers to go diving. Typical routine arrive at 0900 to gear up, depart 1000 for a 20 minute boat ride. First dive over about 1200, lunch provided. Second dive around 1230 back at the dive shop by 1400.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the Scuba diving course and I can say that all the service was fantastic, from the ladies we booked and organised the paperwork, the instructor which gave very accurate information, answered all the question and followed us perfectly according to our needs, and last but not the last the captain of the boat which was very polite and helped us as soon as we were a bit uncertain (also took picture of us and sent them as soon as we finished, all without us asking for it)
Really recommend this place as prices are competitive and the staff will follow you with all the request you have.
