About Dormimundo
Depósitos de Fábrica cambia su nombre a Depósitos Dormimundo. Abriendo sus oficinas en la sexta tienda de la cadena, ubicada en Av. Viaducto No. 44 Col. Narvarte.
En 1974, las oficinas se cambian a la colonia Granjas México, sede actual. Se abren 3 tiendas mas. En la colonia Portales, Jardín Balbuena y Del Valle.
Este año se registra la marca “Dormimundo”.
En 1975 abren su tercera fábrica, SPUM, dedicada a la fabricación de colchones de espuma. Los cuales comenzaron a comercializar en las tiendas de la cadena. Posteriormente fundan la empresa Plega Export, dedicada a la elaboración de herrajes para muebles como los sofá-camas. Herrajes que comenzaron a exportar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dormimundo has caught my eye many times just as it as captured those of others. For one thing, this store has a representation of earth in which Mexico is the center of the gone and humanity, not, say, the United States, which has centered the globe for me all these years.
But there is much more of interest about this Dormimundo on the outside. Cow-breast and a sorteo of other tacos are sold to one side of the store on 6th Oriente, and, given the presence of passing horse-drawn carts, it looks to be possible to have your sleep world stuff transported to your house without the use of fossil fuel.
